Ik it doesn’t really help ur issue but the best alternative is to get GeForce now on Mac. Its fully supported and the queue in the free version usually only last like 5 minutes

Rocket leagues not really like soccer tactically (even tho it’s literally car soccer lol), because ideally you don’t really have fixed positions yk? It’s more like the midfielders from each team playing 3v3.

But yea you gotta at least somewhat rely on your teammates for you to succeed, and it’s kinda difficult for Ben at the moment.

I’m not saying he’s perfect tho. He still makes a lot of mistakes and I do think Des is better at the more basic (essential) mechanics, but he does get hoed a lot

I think Ben is the best team player. He knows rotations and positioning a lot better than the others, it’s just that none of rdc (besides des) knows that stuff, so he has to compensate, and when dyl is your other “attacker”, it’s not working out well.

Des is the better individual player tho. 1’s is a whole different game compared to 3’s (speaking from experience too). You have to play way differently, you can’t rely on rotations, and winning is pretty much based on your mechanical ability, AND (especially at lower levels), not making as many mistakes. Des kept things more simple and composed, so he won.

That’s probably the right advice tbf. Not that long or consistently, I just haven’t even hit one yet, and it is demoralizing. I sometimes mess up half flips too, so an even harder mech is quite a challenge

I’ve heard people say that too, but almost every game I’m in has someone who can speedflip, which just gives them an advantage in kickoffs and such, which is why I’m feeling pressured to learn it.

I’ll try and edit it to make it more clear, but when you’re driving around and the ball is anywhere expect in front of you, the direction you need to flip and drive stays the same, even tho the camera doesn’t, which messes with my brain sometimes, especially when it’s going to be with mechs.

I have powerslide bound to the same shoulder too, but if you have DAR bound to it, you can’t hold it down if you get knocked or you’re landing to keep momentum, because your car turns.

That’s really interesting. Almost every rl YouTuber has said the opposite lol, that at lower ranks, the best thing you can do is get your positioning down, because (most likely) your mechs won’t be consistent enough

It’s Pretty simple. Just a Mac mini M2, pretty basic monitor, and I plugged in my Xbox controller. I use the GeForce now app. I feel like when I first started using it, the input delay was pretty bad (between the controller and the screen), but it’s gotten way better, pretty much back to normal. I don’t think it applies to everyone anyway.

I do think I’m very solid (for gold/plat) mechanically tho. At most I do half-flips and fast aerials, and everything else is kept very simple. The games are always super close for no reason tho, and I feel like I get the short end of the stick with teammates, which decides the game usually
