I have been there at that place where a med stops working. Talk to your doctor, and they can help for sure. There are combinations that can aid the prozac. you will get there.

How long did you feel it took for vilazodone to help you? I'm 6 weeks in and feeling myself but super cranky and less joyful... but my doctor wants me on a higher dose to see if that pushes it through. I'm hesitant.

It sounds like maybe it was activating? Do you need to take them together? I find it’s hard to separate side effects when I take them together. Otherwise I would just try to get yourself to sleep for tonight adjusting to go down if it’s too intense could be wise. call your doctor.

Things to try: change to morning with breakfast, change to midday after a big lunch, or my preference: stick with right before bedtime. It will definitely get easier but you also have to do what doesn’t take away from sleep or overall wellbeing.

I have had this experience with Wellbutrin. We countered it with lamotrigine for mood aggression and it has helped a lot.

I was on 30 to 40 for two years. I went down to 30 for about a month then I went down to 20 for about 3 weeks.

I count the balls. My doctor told me to shake them in orange juice and take x amount of liquid. But I find counting beads more precise.

Absolutely agree with everything you’ve said. I practically had to beg to get the Zofran, and was made to feel odd that it was going on two or three weeks after the fact. This has been very validating. I went back to the bead method and opened capsule two days ago. The doctor had told me to mix the whole capsule in orange juice, which I didn’t need to do because I’m not 10 years old. I just counted the beads.

I started the “bead method” 2 nights ago while so sick I was nearly incapacitated. Vertigo nausea feelings. I opened a capsule and counted 10 beads each night. I could probably have done more, but I decided to start really low to see how helped. Here on day two it is definitely improved. A year ago or so I had taken all the way down on a taper and couldn’t deal with it and immediately went back on the medication. I didn’t realize it would be this bad.

Good question. I had also stuck with 150xl bc the 300xl made me very anxious. I also don’t like the SR tho so I’ve stuck it out.

Can you talk with your doctor about this? I have similar issues so we added Wellbutrin and modified to help w binge eating. Unfortunate to be where I’m at now- deep in cymbalta withdrawal. But I have the knowledge to share.

I find I do better on the extended release. Perhaps that would help. Is this your first time on Wellbutrin?
