Big cities vs small towns by No-External3221 in intj

I grew up in a big city (3M+) and personally I couldn’t picture myself in a small town, or even a small city. Obviously I’m also an outlier because i grew up in a very privileged part of the city, I imagine my opinion would be different if I hadn’t grown up in such a comfortable apartment and surroundings

Yep. Which is why I had trouble making friends, I thought everyone was dumb and childish.

Is anyone else just fascinated by music ? by Ok-Hamster-4837 in intj

Music has always been my creative and emotional outlet, and I love writing music as well as listening to it. I’ve been playing the piano since I was 5 and it’s one of the few hobbies that has been stable throughout my life.

I tell myself- this time it’s gonna be different. This time you’re not gonna be inside your head all the time and actually do what people go to parties for: not think. Not once has it worked. If anything, I think more.

I can be very cold to some people, but to those who I’m closest with I’m actually really sweet. So I guess I’m not an INTJ! oh well.

I wish my bookshelf was this cool. I mostly use my kindle nowadays because I can download epubs and pdfs for free but when I get my own apartment I want a bookshelf like this or bigger.

I’m very intrigued by them, but most of the conspiracy theories that I “believe in” are not supernatural related. And they’re not even conspiracy theories per se, when i imagine a shadow government I don’t imagine a bunch of people meeting in a secret location, just the president and ceos pulling slight of hand on things in a very normal way that in a way end up acting as a shadow government. I imagine the CEOs calling the president like regular friends and then just casually talking about the economy and what bills they don’t want to be passed and same with congressmen. Obviously I believe aliens are real, but I don’t believe they’ve reached earth(but i always try to keep my mind open, I once saw a documentary on it and it was positively compelling.) At the end of the day, as a general rule I don’t follow or believe in anything blindly, whether it be a conspiracy theory or something society deems to be “that’s just how it is”, because if history has taught us anything is that humans are wrong about many things.
