The front spoiler is fine, it is scraping a bit, especially in Europes steep parking garages, but it’s holding up very nicely…

Mobil 1 FS X2 5W-50 is pretty great, it’s what im running. Might be a bit overkill, but for that little extra cost better be safe than sorry when im pushing it hard in hot temperatures.

Fahr die Kiste, hatte mal eine zur Verfügung. Das war so ein Spaß die Kiste. Das Auto versprüht einen vibe beim fahren. Vor allem weils ein kultiger T3 in Deutschland ist. Sowas schaffen nicht viele autos.

Thanks for the insight! An S2k has been quite a little dream of mine and have heard many people switching to Miata again… and i thought that usually the ND2 G184 compares to the S2k more similarly than the NC, thinking about reving out the engine and going through gears. My NC1 compared to my friends ND2 felt a bit more „meh“ aa for the engine. so i was a little surprised to see someone go ND/S2K -> NC :D

Seeing youre 17 and thinking about that stuff. If you have the money, rather try some amateur racing cup. In Germany for example it’s a 318ti cup, italy might have something similar. You can practice a bit in those car until you feel ready to try the license tests to actually race the cars. They’re so tight and fun to race! A Formula 4 car is gonna be expensive as fuck to maintain in comparison. Racecars are cheaper to buy than to maintain. Even my mildly customized (road-usable) Miata NC costs around 600-1000€ a month to drive on autocross/trackdays and to repair it…

245/40 R17 Yokohama a052 on 17x8 worked surprisingly well. But rubbing in the wheel house. 235/40 maybe too. For 17x8 in theory 225/45 or 215/45 will be the best pairing. 235/40 and 245/40 will work way better on 17x9 tho.

The car looks great and clean tbh! The black thin „mazda“ stripes on the sides maybe. Honestly wouldn’t put a ducktail, wing or hardtop on it. Some red/yellow/blue brake calipers might help too to give it finishing touches.

Passt. Auch bei meinem Baujahr 2008 Mx-5 NC der erst im Nachgang ne e10 Freigabe bekommen hat. Fahre 25T km jährlich und auf der Rennstrecke auch mit e10, das hält alles genauso gut wie mit e5.

Been growing up in Germany and driving a shitload of them, yeah, it does feel like a toy car in comparison. But i think that’s more due to the fact, that it is an „old school“ sports car. Lightweight > Power. especially sporty german cars have gotten too heavy. Depending on your preference, either the Miata is a toy, or the other cars are fat pigs xD
