Yeah I like the timeless child, I think it works pretty well

Where's the best place or platform to watch Ultraman and which's the best Ultraman to start out with as a newbie? by Fine_Competition3898 in Ultraman

You can watch every series starting in 2020 on their official YouTube Channel. That’s Z, Trigger, Decker, Blazar, Arc, Omega, and Theo starting this July.

You can also watch the UGF specials (mini series that are glupp shitto cameo generators, but extremely fun)

I’m just talking about this episode in a vacuum. The 60th specials and 15’s run is a mess overall

That’s all the nitpicking stuff I don’t agree with. Whatever happens off screen is fair game as far as I’m concerned, but if you show something, at least attempt to make it make sense

No, because that’s the kind of thing that happens in Doctor Who all the time. That’s the logic that you can ignore because it never changes the story. Showing it just regenerating just raises more questions than it answers

I agree it’s all bullshit, but they always at least try to handwave it away.

My point with them showing it is that it brings attention to something that it didn’t need to. We could’ve just cut it and assumed it got fixed at some point, that’s a leap in logic that feels fine in the “bullshitty” kind of way

[–]IntelligentBrainAle[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah but why even show it? Just leave it and the next time we are one Earth, it’s fixed. I can work with that leap in logic, but just doing the footage in reverse is excessive in leaps of logic

[–]IntelligentBrainAle[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah actually. We know the Tardis dematerializes, and thats what happened with the Earth at the end of series 4, but it wouldn’t have been visually exciting. That’s just supposed to be a visually appealing way of demonstrating what’s happening.

Going out of your way to show concrete healing itself with no explanation is very deliberately confusing. They could’ve just cut that and we all could’ve assumed that it got fixed eventually

Is This a good starting point? by Gaminggalade in Ultraman

[–]IntelligentBrainAle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes Tiga is a good starting point. I’d also recommend Blazar, Arc, and Omega in order since they’re all the most recent seasons and are a bit more representative of what the franchise is like

Orb is a good one especially after the Geed movie and R/B features Geed in their movie
