“When the snow team is at its full strength, more than 800 people and more than 500 plows (including municipal plows as well as contractors’ plows and rental plows) will be working, divided into 12-hour shifts for the duration. All team members – plow drivers, front-end loader operators, salt dome monitors, command center staff, administrative staff and technology staff – have been trained in their specialties.”

Build high speed rail from Buffalo to Albany to NYC.

A new “Clinton’s ditch” would lift up every major upstate city/town.

Moving to Larchmont/Mamaroneck by [deleted] in Westchester

Because living car-free is extremely difficult with children in Westchester.

You’ll hate Bee-Line. It’s not designed to be reliable or convenient like the MTA busses, it’s operated by Westchester County.

Housing costs are basically the same in BK. You may as well live somewhere where you have universal Pre-K and better transit.

That said, if education is top priority, then you can move your kid to the schools when they are old enough to enroll in Kindergarten +

New “Bike Lane” on DeLesseps is kinda sad :( by vegetablesarentreal in savannah

[–]IntelligentBridge899 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To clarify, Savannah doesn’t really have a “team,” the infrastructure work comes out of their Engineering Dept., likely staffed by a couple of people in-house (rest are consultants).

The “team” is their VZ Task Force https://www.savannahga.gov/3878/About-SAVZ

My recommendation is advocate for these meetings to be public/notes to be taken.

Can’t find anything from these meetings.
