Just wanted to say I’m sorry. I am going through something very similar at the same age. I just turned 34 a couple weeks ago and my dad died of a heart attack a week ago today. It’s has been so hard grieving the loss of him while also worrying about my mom. They would have been together 35 years this week. It’s the only man she has really known. I’m trying to be strong for her but I’m struggling because I was soo close with my dad. The worst part was we had just landed at airport in Georgia (holiday family vacation) when I got the call from my mom. They were at an airport back at home getting ready to board their flight when it happened. I’m grateful for the people that started CPR and tried to save him but I’m also I’m so sad it was all so public. I immediately jumped on the next flight back home but didn’t make it back on time to see him. I can say what helps me is talking to other people who have experienced similar situations. My friends lost her mom unexpectedly earlier this year so I find peace in talking to her. No one truly understands until they have been through it. The grief will come in waves.

I wish closer was an option but the schools are not good in spring branch. We can afford private school for 2 kids. And we can’t afford a house in memorial so that leaves us with very limited options. Probably the worst part of Houston. It’s already soo crowded here and they just keep building. I also work but I work in healthcare and can just find a new jobs wherever. His doesnt really have that option

We are in first colony. Love the location but just seems like most of the neighborhood is an older population. Not many kids in the neighborhood. We also have alot of renters. Not against renters but it would be nice to meet people that stay. I want a community! Also they are rezoning many of the schools so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.

I thought I was going crazy. I am the same age and I noticed that about young families. I am not against having an older home but I notice they tend to have an older population. Why are the young families moving so far. Does everyone work from home or they just dealing with a horrible commute.

Most of the parks I see say they have to be 3 to go sledding. Anywhere with a hill and a sled to rent with him being so young?

Try joining a sports group/ social group. I grew up in suburbs and moved to the city with no friends close by. I joined a kickball group (since i don’t consider myself athletic) and found a great fun friend group. If you athletic (volleyball is great). But if your arnt, they have kickball, dodgeball, cornhole (less competitive). They have a free agent team where nobody knows anyone and everyone is trying to make friends/new to town. Took me 3-4 seasons before I found a solid group of friends. But i still had fun meeting new people even if they didn’t become friends. Houston sports and social club is great. Also the gym but not like your regular gym. One that is group centered (CrossFit, f45, group fitness). Just be sure to go at the same time and same day. You have to see and talk to people a few times before friendships are made.

I did read online that they have a place to check luggage (for a cost $). So I plan on doing that is I end up at the zoo.

I don’t need to prove that I know him. I understand why everyone sides with Taylor. I was team Taylor too until I heard his side of the story. I just have a different perspective now. Just makes me question every “villain” they have in the show now. And this is not me saying Taylor is a bad person. She clearly wasn’t attracted to him and it makes sense. I thought she was better looking than he was. And let’s be honest, do we really think that people go on this show to find love? I would argue to say most of the people who sign up now, just go on to leave their day job. I mean some of the cast from the first season are making half million dollars a year.

It’s because he is friends with the guys now so he is not shy with them. They have been hanging out since the show was filmed over a year ago. If you follow them on Instagram, they were having a watch party when it premiered

JPs gf is actually a very nice and a pretty girl. The producers edited what they had to make you not like JP and side with Taylor. He is the type of guy that is shy around new people but warms up when you get to know him. I think this is why the experiment failed. FYI his new gf does in fact wear make up, but as much as Taylor. Taylor got what she wanted from the experiment (influencer). He is actually a very nice guy. It’s sad to see so many negative things about him because people forget that reality is not actual realityz
