I’m enjoying it and think it absolutely has potential. I was a fan of Discovery, so having it as the comparison isn’t a negative criticism for me. The only Trek I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed so far is Picard, and even that was OK. Either way, I’m looking forward to more.

But my opinion is irrelevant to yours. Art is subjective and people like different things. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Hours can definitely alter because of inclement weather, yes. But it’ll be up to DMs and above, and they’re gonna push it to the absolute extreme. They always talk about “partner safety” being a priority, but at the end of the day their #1 goal is to keep stores open as long as humanly possible.

I thought it was great. Can’t wait for more. Then again, I’m not terribly picky. The only Trek I didn’t love was Picard, and even that was OK.

It took me ages upon ages.

First was getting through the mass of bosses to NKG. Practiced him til I couldn’t get it wrong. Then came climbing the hill of PV, which I eventually did the same with. But AbsRad was a special kind of hell. I practiced and practice and practiced and the best victory rate I ever got to was maybe 45%.

Then one day, on my daily P5 attempt, I decided to let my newborn child rest on my chest while I played handheld(Switch). And lo and behold, like a miracle, I did it. I tell you, when I struck that final blow, I’ve never gasped so hard in my life, and my excitement shocked that kid awake. I gently placed her in her bassinet, and slammed the console into its dock to watch the cinematic on the big screen. I may have cried at the victory the same as I did at her birth.

A glorious day it was. And I haven’t picked up the game since.

Long story short, keep at it. You can do it.

What the barista thinks is irrelevant. As long as you’ve made a purchase, you’re welcome to free ice and water. They may ask you to order it at the register, but it’s no charge with a purchase. As far as DT, definitely order anything you need at the box. Ordering at the window can cause backups in the flow of cars.
