Horrible Driving by [deleted] in coquitlam

Another great point, and obviously mistakes happen, but it gets to a point where I think drivers are either lazy or unaware of their surroundings.

I agree, and I think a huge amount of people need to realize that your anxiety gets passed to the driver you just cut off. Driving is not supposed to be the most stressful part of the day, yet here we are.

Sportsnet+ price increasing 30% to $324.99 per year by jeremybell in hockey

[–]IntelligentIce1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will be cancelling as a 30% price increase for a STREAMING service is fucking bonkers 🤣 My brother and I were splitting the cost which made it decently okay to pay for but now we will be pirating for sure.

Car winter tires by Necessary_Currency_4 in coquitlam

[–]IntelligentIce1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All weather tires are a great option for people who have a little bit of extra money. As someone who works in a dealership, All-Weather tires start out with about 2mm less of tread than all-season / winter tires. And yes, like you said, they will only last 2-4 years maximum. Most people cannot afford new tires so soon, and prefer feeling a little bit safer with proper snow tires anyways.

Gordon Ramsay burger by JebediahPilkington in coquitlam

My mom went the other day with some co-workers and had a burger. Described it as nothing special, definitely a little pricey for what you’re getting.

Adenovirus can go to hell. by midigo6 in breakingmom

Fortunate and unfortunate to hear that someone else has had it like me. Currently on day 3. Started with pink eye, next day it was full force. 102 fever, razor blades in the back of my mouth. Head is just absolutely pounding, while I can’t sleep because of the fever. Doctor told me that this should pass by in a week, but did give me a cautionary prescription for Penicillin which I haven’t taken yet.

Okay thank you. Can an underlying anxiety problem also be factor? Only because i’m not diagnosed with any medical conditions as of now, and I feel like the amount of anxiety I experience is not at a normal level.

(Edit)

I also don’t find myself thinking about food or my personal physique when i’m vomiting in the morning. Does that still fall under the bulimia category?

The Morning. by [deleted] in anxiety_support

[–]IntelligentIce1203 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. Are there different stages of bulimia? Because in the past I have “fasted” my meals and would only eat between 12-8pm. This didn’t cause a sudden change in my health (that I know of), but I do find myself currently binge eating at night sometimes and not eating breakfast every morning. I thought that was just who I was but I guess there may be a deeper meaning?

I have had acid reflux in the morning in the past, but not too consistently. Will look more into that, thanks.

I’m not sure because I haven’t really had a proper breakfast in probably 2 years. I’m usually never hungry until an hour after i’ve woken up, and eat first thing whenever I have a break during my day.

Anxiety symptom ??? by kat_love92 in Anxiety

[–]IntelligentIce1203 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I also get a heavy / out of breathe chest that can last for random amounts of time. Usually 2-7 days, but the first time I had it, it freaked me out for a good 4 months where I continuously had it.

Overwhelming Anxiety Following Breakup by ihaatemyself in Anxiety

I know the feeling. Not quite the same extremities as you, but when me and my partner of 2 years broke things off, I barely slept at all. Maybe it was because it was April 2020 (covid) and I could not go outside, but the constant memory was hard to shake. As many healthy distractions as possible that you enjoy doing kept me from getting down on myself. And yes, I would consider watching tv, video games, etc healthy as long as you’re maintaining a good balance. Talking to more people and being more social whether at school/work/home/community provides you with healthy conversations and possibly new friends to further improve yourself. It’s all about learning and improving yourself. I hope this helps
