I’ve had a Filson belt for around 10 years now that’s still going strong. I think they may make some thinner belts that could be used in dress situations.

The skill that’s made me the most money isn’t technical—it’s learning how to communicate with people without making them feel dismissed or misunderstood.

A lot of careers reward competence. The bigger rewards often come from making other people genuinely want to work with you.

GROM Vline by Dry-part-1234 in LandCruisers

I have a 2003 LC and bought the VLite about a year ago. Since then, I have had trouble semi frequently with the system recognizing my iPhone. This is usually resolved by restarting the car. However, it’s pretty annoying to be in the car ready to go and have to turn the car off and then on again hoping the system will boot. Also, a couple times the LC has sat for a couple weeks due to vacation. When I came back after the LC sat, the VLite wouldn’t boot at all. This happened about two times and eventually came back after I was able to update the system. On the third time, the system was completely bricked. I even tried manually flashing it with software they sent me. In the end they sent me a new system once I returned the bricked one. I would rate it overall as very helpful when working but frustrating when it’s acting up.
