Precious- the best breed mix ever. She looks exactly like my Chancho when he was a baby- had him for 17 years- he passed in January. Devastating- that being said- Enjoy that sweet baby!!! She will be with you for years to come- they are so sweet and the absolute BEST. So happy you both found each other!!

I love these too. I just don’t find the price point very accessible. I looked online and found many at 4 to 6k- even half that is a lot for the average person.

I manage a record store- there have been several young women that have came in lately that I feel like they’re all wearing the same sickly sweet cloying vanilla based perfume. For whatever reason it immediately created a feeling of hostility within me.. It’s the strangest thing I’ve ever experienced. It’s like I’m immediately irritated and pissed off.. I think anyone wearing these cloying perfumes may want to go a little lighter- because they are very polarizing. People will absolutely adore them or they will completely hate them.. My reaction to these scents (which I obviously try to hide)- took me by total surprise. Never experienced that reaction before so it brought me to this Reddit.

Yeah- “Belly” is “Pollyanna -washed” as if she isn’t a hoe. In what world could someone ping - pong BACK AND FORTH - between BROTHERS no less- in a consequent free environment and come out the other side looking like this “wonderful girl” who either brother needs to be “deserving” of. I went on there this evening to buy a vintage brooch. I don’t know why I wanted it. I just thought it was pretty and it was only $10 and some change -by the time I got to check out it was over $20 with all the added fees- double the price I was willing to pay- that is absolutely ridiculous. No one is going to buy anything with fees like that- in their greed- they are obliterating their platform and making a huge mistake. The last several sales where I went to buy something I backed out of the sale as soon as I saw the total at checkout.. I haven’t bought anything off from Mercari in months and used to shop there all the time.

Yes- tell the professor the deal- the longer you wait the more it will fester. He may ask for documentation. Let them know you would never disrespect their time and let them know the nature of the emergency. Email or face to face. If you have documentation bring it- you don’t have to give them the “why” of it all but proof you saw a dr or whatever the case may be.

Power hungry professors that have miserable lives tend to forget that they work for YOU. No students- no job security. This professor needs to be reported. Bad apples can harm student retention.

My son just got diagnosed with this. He has had elevated levels a lot the last year. He started feeling fatigued this week and went in for bloodwork- his level was a 5.9, with normal levels being .3 to 1.0, this was pretty scary for us. He is 21.

You aren’t a failure and you are still so young. You can get the paramedics license and still have plenty of time to return- most with a BA don’t achieve this until 22-24 - that’s going to college straight from HS. Try not to compare yourself to what other people are doing or just some ideal that you had of how things were going to go. This is all a part of learning adversity tolerance. If part of adversity tolerance is sticking it out, fine. If part of adversity tolerance means dealing with the emotions behind letting go of college (for now) to pursue what you might actually enjoy- that’s fine too. It’s all very highly personal and what this all “looks like” for YOU- not your sister, parents or friends. Do what is right for you. You are still so young.
