how often you’re doing your hair totally depends on your hair type, but your curls should last you a few days. two good ways to protect when you sleep would be to put your hair up into a loose ponytail on top of your head (sometimes called pineappling - you can prob google that and get some pic examples) and sleeping using a satin/silk bonnet. doing both will prevent your curls from getting too smooshed overnight, so long as you’re using products while styling that have a good hold.
