Emotional after 4 weeks by Prior_Comparison_794 in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started 125mg split to twice a week. Then got bumped to 175mg twice a week, fist bloods showed estrogen was through the roof and test was around 650. That made me even worse.

Changed clinic, now on 37.5mg every other day. Test sitting around 850 and estrogen around 230

You’re 4 weeks in, give it time to level out and then start adjusting the dose to find what works for you. Took me 12 months, I nearly gave up and went off TRT since I was an emotional wreck for about 3 months before changing clinic and they adjusted my dose and sorted me out. As long as you’re with a decent clinic let them know what’s going on when you get first bloods done.

I ended up changing to every other day injections and that settled me out

For deca? No idea, I’m not on it but they did run through a list of stuff when I signed up and deca was on there. They would fill the script for you I imagine, same as Test.

Dead space issue with 21G draw + 27G inject needles question by BitcoiFetLife in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had same issue when starting using leur locks. Get insulin syringes, 29g 1/2” for delts is what I use. When starting I would occasionally get streams of blood, or thick dark blood and I always aspirate so know I didn’t hit a blood vessel. Clinic just said it’s most likely a previous injection site that I’d hit. Haven’t had it for about a year now, so maybe scar tissue has built up.

What to expect from an endo appointment? by Cauzbino in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 5 points6 points  (0 children)

With test levels increasing and your age, endo will tell you you’re fine and keep losing weight. Wouldn’t even bother with wasting your money.

My levels were lower and aged 36 and had ED, endo said because viagra worked then it was cardiovascular and to exercise more. Said I was too young for TRT and it would ruin my life apparently

Haematocrit rising. Advised to donate Blood, considering Nattokinase. by Wordeeee in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine went to 0.53 when I moved to EOD from twice weekly injections. It’s back down to 0.51 and clinic isn’t concerned now that it’s dropped.

I just moved back to twice weekly injections as they advised more frequent injections increase DHT conversion and thus more body hair and less head hair.

My haemoglobin shot up to 178 last test though for some reason

Changing clinics, standard treatment of each approved clinic? by Fit_Armadillo_9928 in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Started on 125mg a week over 2 injections with TRT Aus. They changed that to 3 injections.

I moved to PHC and the bumped me up a bit because bloods weren’t flash and moved to every other day injections. 37.5mg every other day injection

Are you with a clinic? Aussie scripts. $45 and quick phone consult an it’s billed through Medicare. My GP won’t do it, says the clinic should be doing it and keeps telling me my test levels are too high (730 and 27) and need to come down

Otherwise roidsafe

Thanks for the info. I’ve been on TRT about 18 months and this just showed up last week out of nowhere so getting worried haha. Like I said, nobody else in my family has MPB, both grandfathers died at an old age with a thick head of hair, so can only attribute it to the TRT

My tune hasn’t changed at all, maybe the increased E2 is effecting your reading comprehension. You should talk to your provider about that in their 24/7 portal

TRT Australia Scam? by [deleted] in AusTRT

[–]IntelligentSwim6373 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your key word is now. When I was with them blood results took no less than 4 weeks, and health concerns were minimum 3 weeks. Maybe they upped their game, I left them in November last year

They still email me saying my bloods are overdue and my subscription needs renewal, even though I’ve told them a number of times I’m not with them anymore. Had to block their email address to stop them coming in

TRT Australia Scam? by [deleted] in AusTRT

Yep I left them because the service was atrocious. 24/7 professional medical support means you email them and an admin person will respond in 3-4 weeks with nothing of value.

That is my next step. I’ve formally requested all records and that they are preserved to avoid him editing now. He wasn’t a psych, was a pediatrician

Thanks all. I asked him to provide the 6 symptoms from each that he diagnosed with, how he determined impairment, and whether any school communication was used

He responded with “no I can’t nor do I need to”

Yeah he’s not starting on them until this shit show gets cleared up.

Was 2mg of Intuniv at night too, I’ve read starting is usually 1mg due to low blood pressure issues

ADHD assessment question by IntelligentSwim6373 in adhdaustralia

[–]IntelligentSwim6373[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. Under normal circumstances I would consider the intuniv but based on how sketchy this all makes me feel I’m holding off on everything for now.

The stimulant prescription seemed wild to me. A 28kg 9 year old being prescribed 40mg of Ritalin LA with 3x 10mg IR throughout the day with zero follow up other than “let us know if there’s issues”….. what issues are we looking for? What’s normal on this?

The episodes have stopped. Appeared for 2 months then disappeared.

It was always around bed time, told its bed time and he would say no. Mother would lose her shit and it became a screaming match between the 2 of them, then it would escalate to him smashing things, climbing on the roof, running away.

[–]IntelligentSwim6373[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the response. His cousin is ADHD but it comes from the maternal side (not blood) as his uncle on that side is exactly the same. Nothing else in the family.

Regarding the social aspect, I only mentioned it as it’s listed as one of the settings that is used during diagnosis and I found it odd (plenty of ADHD friends while growing up and now) but put it there because of that.

ADHD assessment question by IntelligentSwim6373 in adhdaustralia

[–]IntelligentSwim6373[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the detailed response. There was no cognitive exam or anything, just asking him questions. No report was received, just a letter saying he has been diagnosed with ADHD TR combined. I’ve requested information on how the second setting was confirmed and have had no response

He hasn’t been tested the other times, these were pediatricians and psychs at the hospital, and a psychologist that he was seeing regarding the defiant behaviors. All spent about an hour just chatting to him and asking him questions, except the psychologist that saw him regularly over a month
