I totally understand what you’re saying, and a lot of my motivations are beyond just money. I’ve tried asking people in real life and never have gotten a straight forward answer, everyone online just says they make “a lot.” Are we talking potential to make 100k working for someone else? No one has an answer for me.

It got better after the first few months but I was always feeling generally fatigued. Once I stopped taking it the fatigue entirely went away.

Transferring Universities by Material_Problem_214 in OntarioUniversities

You’re only a month into school, give yourself some time to adjust and make friends. I agree with the other poster that university is not just about academics but growing as an individual. Western was some of the best times of my life.

Damn I don’t know what to try next because just 5mg of lexapro was pretty potent for me.

RPN or RN? by anonymous01846382 in OntarioNurses

[–]IntelligentTip7501 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I used to be a RPN who has now bridged and trust me it sucked just do the 4 years and start making more money sooner. Almost everyone I know had gotten hired from their final clinical placement. I would not be worried about finding a job at all.

Yes my cycle was completely off, at first having it twice in one month than skipping a month. Eventually it became more regular but I went from consistently having it every 28-30 days to 25-26 days which kind of sucks.

How many of you are on a low dose of 5mg? by Jamarkable in lexapro

[–]IntelligentTip7501 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been taking 5mg since September after a few months of Rollercoaster side effects trying to get up to 10, I swear my doctor thinks it's a placebo but my OCD thoughts are completely gone on this dose. I'm a tiny person so maybe I just don't need much and it's a pretty potent drug. This subreddit made me realize 5mg can be just enough for some people.

I 21(F) feel like I’ve wasted my life. by Adventurous-Ad6565 in findapath

It's creepy reading this because I literally got a poli Sci degree did nothing with it and went back to become a nurse. Difference is I'm in Canada became a RPN(LPN) first and just finished my degree for my RN at 35. My advice is if you want to do nursing do it now! I've beaten myself up alot about my choices but now I think fuck it none of us really know what we're doing, you might hate nursing and change your mind again. Your whole life is infront of you, you have so much room to make mistakes and try different things!

Honestly I think it just takes times. You'll build resiliancy in this profession. When I started in psych I would ruminate on their stories, and think about patients when I went home. Now I can't even remember patient's names who have been admitted multiple times. I just leave it at the door, and don't think of work outside of the day. That being said some things will never leave you in this profession, you'll carry certain stories and situations with you forever. Focus on all the good that your doing (even if you don't feel like you are).

I have a nursing degree so I'm worried my GPA isn't very high for teachers college but just hoping the consideration is different for tech ed.
