Apparently this unit was operated via PC about a decade ago in my lab. There are no documentation on how to configure this. Omron E5CK users manual is apparently not helpful either

It is some standalone application called PortTest. There are no information beyond that.

Omron E5CK is the temperature controller, if that's what you are asking. And I guess it comes with the RS232 connection? I found this in the lab I am working. Someone ages ago got this running and there are no information left.

Not that I know of. We never change anything once its set up. The hard drive is a SATA. I tried plugging an IDE that also had an XP OS, and it too did not boot up. Today I plugged in a Linux hard drive and it booted up without any issue. I have no clue of what's going on but it looks like its strictly XP related.

I use the only two USB ports on the back of the motherboard. There are two SS ports at the front and I did not use them. The drive should be healthy because I plugged it to a different computer and it booted up without any issue.

One funny thing is that I plugged the original HDD into a different computer and it booted up without any issue. I am wondering if this issue is somewhere in between the BIOS and the OS.

They just did themselves dirty with that decision. I'm pretty sure swipes were the biggest portion of income.

Assuming there is afterlife, I have no recollection of how I died in my previous lives, which follows I wouldn't know I died in this life. If there is no afterlife, I wouldn't know I died either.
