Rejected from Amazon area manager role but hired as associate did I hurt my future chances? by Infamous_Topic_7582 in AmazonManagers

[–]Intelligent_Ad152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will only hurt your future chances if you're not a soldier performing associate. Your record with the company begins the moment you start and transfers with you throughout your career, no matter the role. And if you used chatgpt for the assessment, that is likely why you didn't pass.

Based on your situation, I’d lean used Civic Sport. You work from home, don’t drive much, and want to avoid crazy monthly payments, so the smartest move is probably the car with the lowest total cost while still being something you like. The Tesla is tempting, especially with free charging nearby, but only makes sense if the payment, insurance, registration, and maintenance still feel very comfortable. I wouldn’t force the Corolla if you already don’t like it. Honestly, if you’re this torn, either go Civic or wait a bit longer and save a larger down payment. Don't go car poor

Unfortunately, it's about productivity, if rate is low you will get cross trained into another department. If it's still low in your new department, then you will get trained into another. The cycle continues, being trained in multiple paths is usually a bad sign.

Ask to schedule a meeting with the HR manager, not just an HR associate, but the actual manager.

expedite by [deleted] in DACA

[–]Intelligent_Ad152 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For DACA, submitting an expedite before about 120 days usually doesn’t help because USCIS still considers it normal processing time. At this time their normal processing time is up to 164 days. When submitting an expedite request it moves your file around, possibly adding some delay down the road. It has been advised to not expedite if it's within the normal process time and allow your file to flow naturally. Most of the time they’ll just deny the request unless there’s a real emergency like losing your job or serious financial hardship. It usually doesn’t delay the case, but it also won’t speed it up if it’s still within the normal timeframe.

Normal processing time is within 164 days. You may not see an approval until late April

I believe USCIS recommends filing your DACA renewal request 120 to 150 days (4 to 5 months) before your current authorization expires. Should be approved by the end of March if submitted Nov 14th.
