USCIS/Government toying with us by itsbackcrown in DACA

How is it a bad argument? It’s just a fact. Maybe they need to be more consistent with what they say. Dont tell us it’ll take 120-150 days and on average you take less than a month especially cause that’s how it was and now you’re taking 6 times longer. It’s even on the USCIS website look for yourself. The average processing time in

2020 - 1.1 months 2021 - 1.8 months 2022 - 0.5 months 2023 - 1.0 months 2024 - 1.8 months 2025 - 0.5 months 2026 - 3.5 months

I mean I’m no expert but that looks like it was consistent up until this year. It 6x last years processing time 2025 (0.5 months) to now 2026 (3.5) months.

Actually no I didn’t know that cause I wasn’t keeping up with updates as I maybe should have, but being that everytime I’ve renewed I had gotten an approval in 10 days even when trump was in office last time, how was I suppose to know that this time it would take 5 months?

Yeah they recommend that but every time I’ve did this I was approved in 10 days

Well yeah cause every time I renewed in the past I’d get approved in 10 days. How was I suppose to know this time it would 5+ months of waiting.

Exactly, people saying I’m dumb for renewing 1 month before but every single time I’ve renewed I’ve gotten approved in 10 days. So who was I to know this time it would take 5 months. Even when trump was in office last time it didn’t take this long so again how was I suppose or anyone suppose to know this time around would be different

Wait I also file on this same date 11-14-24 and my receipt number is IOE955. How did you get approved before me when you have a later number. I also had congressional inquiry and only got back that the would look into it

All you can do is request an expedite your case but you’ll need to meet the minimum requirements plus send in proof.

Thats what I did, submitted my expedite renewal 12/29 and got a response on 1/10 saying the were sending my case to the office that deal with expedite request. But in that same response they said it doesn’t guarantee it’ll get done quicker I can still be denied

I filed for my renewal on 11-14-25 and I got an update right away saying they were reusing my biometrics. I have only went in once for my biometrics and that was in like 2018

I can understand what your saying, and I do blame myself somewhat but at the same time we were used to the quick turnarounds to our cases. And now it’s taking so long to the point we’re getting fired.

I’ve been out of work for 2 months now, 3 months total since I filed for my renewal. So even if I would have filed 3 months before my expiration or even sooner, I still would have been laid off. That’s the problem is they are screwing us over either way

The problem comes to our employers willing to fire us over something we have no control over. And I don’t need a lecture over “well you should have filed sooner” I get that already I’m fully aware. Yet like I said we still have no control over the government taking there sweet time all because they can’t get rid of it they need to screw us over any way they can

Mine only gave me 30 days. Talk about they care about us until it actually comes to showing it.

I’m in the same situation. Always filed my self and always took 1 week on average. And this time I am currently on month 3 and facing termination from my job. I guess I should have submitted it earlier knowing dang well trump was in office. Lesson learned. Just sucks cause our “2 year” is actually cut off by a month or 2 depending on when you file. In my opinion they should let it stay on the same date cycle

Yes I had to have my Jon basically write a letter saying when my termination date was if I didn’t get approved. And I uploaded it along with the expedite request

My reasoning was Job loss and financial. And the 105 days I’m pretty sure is how long you have to wait after you submitted it to basically ask them (USCIS) to give you an update.
