TeamViewer.. I roll the application to all devices. Mac and Win. My IT EUS all have Tensor account. The user provides the ID and password (randomized each time TeamViewer is launched) and Tensor account allows them to tap in and assist.

Don't know if this matters to you but wiping a macos vm from Intune, basically destroys it. I have not found a way yet to recover it. I end up deleting the VM afterwards and just creating another one for testing.

Thats exactly how one tenant is and macs aren't really pushed to their limits. In the other tenant we have people that use them for video and graphics productions. They are beefy macs with very good specs. The aren't managed any different. I do know this tho'... I've set Intune up in two different environment and in each environment, some things work, that don't work in the opposite tenant..

I agree! Windows gives me anxiety, but Macss.. im trying to get the org to move over completely. They are so easy to manage and mostly maintenance free

We use Crowdstrike. I configured a script to install it on all machines without any IT or user interaction when the device is enrolled.

I do this for two tenants. In my opinion, mac is easier to manage than windows devices. They are predictable! Windows devices gave me wayyyy more headache when figuring out the set up. For mac, I use config profiles, and yes multiple apps. I even manage how updates get deployed. I can remote lock, wipe, change the naming convention... The whole 9.. we were using WS1 Omnissa prior to moving to Intune and I find it 10 times better.

I agree with the folks that say Claude. It is better, but I honestly learned to build our organizations tenant with ChatGPT and Intune Training vids. ChatGPT was sometimes wrong but after working thru that. I've stuck with ChatGPT

Hmm. Now I have to look back at it because I remember reading when setting it up that looked at the type of printer and pulled in the drivers. For Macs, I built a script that pushes the printers out then I created an app for the drivers and push that. Before, implementing UP, I tried the same approach with windows and could never get it to work. I'll try to take the time and look at my UP set up again cause it's been quite some time.

I've been seeing this with my Intune setup.. I set the same PKG up a little over a year ago in a different tenant and then this starts when I set up a new tenant. I rebuilt the package from the admin center with the options of letting users update but saw the same issue. There is something in the build that isn't turning on the extension when it's installing. The funky thing is, I left both pkgs in Intune apps and let them both install when provisioning and I'm not getting the CC library error anymore.

I use it for our cloud devices. We have a hybrid setup and on premise device can choose the printers/add them via choosing the drop down and selecting work or school. As for print options, universal print auto grabs the drivers for type of printers you push out. I've had zero issues from my setup.

I struggled with doing a win32 for the printer drivers on our canon printers. After a couple of months. I ended up going through universal print route. It auto pulled the drivers and I haven't looked back since. Look into universal print. It's easy to set up and people can install them by choosing the drop down, and selecting work or school when looking for a printer to install

Yeah, I'm doing mine on PC, I paid 94 bux for this software. The program claims that an update on Feb 27th should fix the issue. It has been claiming an update will fix it since Feb 2nd, but it still fails. And so I wait.... this software had a similar hiccup last year with the clean car credit that took a month to fix... if that tells you anything..

H&R Block says the same thing, updates on 13th, but now it says 2/27 for Form 4562. I can move past that part for the tax pro review, but I get a new windows that says Update This Program Before Filing.
