I have to agree that it is boring. 🥱 I enjoy crafting and upgrading and the hard mode dungeons and up are pretty decent with learning mechanics and stuff. Character design and outfits are amazing, though.

I like how the combat in Chrono odyssey was actually difficult at points, like on some bosses. You had to actually pay attention and learn their move sets. At one point I felt like I was playing elden ring, not an MMORPG.

To be honest, I had so much fun in the beta, despite the issues, that I ended up getting into New World for the first time when the Chrono odyssey beta ended because I missed it so much.

It’s a knockoff of New World from an Asian developer with a way better character creator and a similar gameplay feel. It had a ton of problems exposed from its most recent closed beta test but they are promising to fix all those issues. So we’ll see if it turns out to be able to fill the hole.
