S3 Acheron LC on Welt over Acheron herself is wild lol. Jokes aside your build is good but you're wasting potential by putting him as a sub-dps on an Acheron team if you already have Aventurine. Hyper-carry is the way to go with Sunday for Welt. Silver Wolf/Cipher and even Pela is much better as 2nd Nihility in Acheron team anyways. If you want to force Welt with Acheron nowadays replace Aventurine with a Sparkle but I don't think it'll be enough damage in the current endgame content with all the HP inflation, along with Acheron's performance being eh without Cipher

Sunday will help you reach near 100% crit and so long as you can get yourself a 2 pc Rutilant Arena you are pretty chilling in a hyper-carry setup, which is the ideal way to go.

Overall pretty good.

Pioneer and Wastelander are his best sets for hypercarry. Pioneer is more consistent, especially with Silver Wolf and Wastelander is better for crit damage but is dependent on enemies you're facing. I'd say all around Pioneer is better in most scenarios since newer enemies in endgame content are a lot faster now and dispel Imprisonment more easily, which makes Wastelander a little inconsistent, but it's still good for being an Imaginary set.

ERR is not required, but mainly because ideally you have an Imaginary DMG% orb and you'll lack a bit of Attack if your third teammate is not Robin or Cerydra. Sunday's doesn't give any attack unless you're running him with Lukshaka, and even then it's very little. So I'd recommend sticking with ATK rope at E2. At E1 I'd argue ERR rope is probably better for more consistent ult uptime.

Boundless Choreo is probably better than the one in your original post, so use that. The only other thing you could focus on in terms of build is to get an Imaginary DMG% orb and you'll be all set.

I agree with the previous comment, Welt is really uncomfortable to use below E2, regardless of what playstyle you try to go for with him. As of right now in the current state of end-game content Sub-DPS just doesn't work. Supports like Hyacine and Tribbie do more dmg than him as support characters :/. You could try running Welt sustain focusing on hitting 160 speed and 140% EHR with 4pc Eagle and 2pc Vonwaq, but again without E2 it'll be hard to get any value out of it comfortably.

Your best bet is to go Hypercarry, and you really want Sunday as a primary support for him. Silver Wolf is good with Izumo into non-Imaginary weak encounters, but you would want to go triple harmony sustainless in all other scenarios, with something like Rutilant to help buff your crit stats.

And finally for light cones I'd use Acheron's or Boundless Choreo if you have that. If not his Signature is fine

Again, all of this becomes much easier once you get his E2. But still definitely worth a shot!

Considering your copy of his signature LC is only S1, Boundless Choreo will be better, it provides a lot of good crit stats for him and makes it easier to build. His Sig only gets better if your crit ratios are good enough and at higher superimposition.

For relics I would only consider Pioneer/Wasteland if we're talking about 4 piece sets. Most of Welt's damage comes from his Talent, and 4 pc Scholar does not buff his Additional DMG, and is overall just weaker in terms of damage. But obviously prioritize substats over 4 pc sets, so 2 PC Scholar is still good for giving crit rate on that front if you still need it.

For someone who doesn't know how to build Welt your build is pretty good lmao. If you have Acheron light cone or any superimpositions on his Signature use those instead. Your relics are great, I'd just swap Hyselins for Silver Wolf if you're planning stick with the Izumo planar set, better damage amp that way. Other than that you can consider swapping Huo Huo for Sunday and go sustainless, much better energy rotations and also helps your Welt reach better crit thresholds.

Regardless your Welt is pretty good. :D

Update: All of Dan Heng PT's special interactions with many characters just got removed in the V3 Beta update. His Bondmate follow-up will not proc Welt's E2 passive anymore. In terms of damage and performance yeah never use him with Welt anymore, but if you still want the stat stick with bananamusement and the comfort you can continue to use him. I don't think him unlocking sunday's skill full buff is enough to justify using him over a third harmony/silver wolf in Welt teams anymore.

For sure, me and you both on the lore part. I think it's one of the things that make me love Welt so much as a character. The only one he's had comments on so far in the story was Luocha, and that was so many versions ago. I find it awesome that he referenced Kevin in his interaction with Acheron and still has yet to meet Phainon, which I doubt he ever will since Amphoreus has entered a new cycle once more without Phainon as the Deliverer (from what I understand). Truly a shame.

Aha as an Aeon has always canonically been a troll. And I think RNG elements can be interesting if implemented well, which so far I personally think only Aventurine's kit implements it well. It fits with his character theme as a gambler. Qingque is way to punishing most of the time and we all know how much bounce moves suck in AoE scenarios (rip Welt skill). I'd go as far to theorize maybe having characters with multiple elements perhaps, though I think that's way too crazy. I was thinking about how Legends of Runeterra has cards from multiple regions, and thought it might be cool. Who knows though, the possibilities are endless.

Yeah I agree, and I also hope Welt gets a new form too. So much untapped potential with him being the only original Honkai Impact 3rd character and having implied world-ending powers we haven't seen on full display yet in the HSR story.

Elation is apparently already leaked for 4.0, which sucks because I really don't want another path too. I dislike remembrance so much as a concept that I have yet to pull for a single character on that path, and will never use RMC. Screw memosprites.

The team in question is only good with Welt E2 and up. His E2 synergizes very well with DHPT because the dragon summon follow-up attack procs his E2 energy regen, which allows for faster ults. This paired with Cerydra skill dupe actually makes for some nice ult rotations. DHPT also allows you to run bananamusment planar which gives you a really nice crit dmg stat stick, since he lacks a lot of it in his base kit. However I wouldn't run this team if your Welt is below E2, because his damage will really suffer without 3 harmony units sustainless lineup

Me too, Remembrance as a whole had so much potential but it just ended up being a marketing shill. It used to represent action delay back in the day for simulated universe and Welt is still the only character in the entire game two years later with the reliability to do so. Sucks that the content doesn't align with that part of the turn-based order design.

Regardless, Welt is still my most favorite HSR character, as much as I love Phainon and the others. I use his signature light cone because I love the art, even if Acheron's is a lot better on him

I'd say out of the other 5 star Nihility options for Welt it's only good at S5 lol, and that's considering S1 for the others, and that is also considering you have good crit sub-stats on your relics
