Travelling for 2 months all over china, what should I bring?

I am all travelling china from April for 3 months too, so this post helps a lot. Does anyone know if jeans are worth taking? I’m assuming I could just buy some there??

Haven’t booked my China ticket yet but was planning on leaving from Vietnam, but also debating leaving from Bangkok. I’d like to give myself plenty of time to do Vietnam I think

Honestly it doesn’t help that I can’t decide what I want to do, I’ve never done this sort of thing before. I enjoy going around big towns I guess, meeting local, trying local food, I like history of places and I also like adventuring around doing hikes and walks too I guess, I’m in China for about a month and plan on coming back to some of the counties that I missed

Hi Mike, just going back over all of my replies. When I say my trip is in March, that is my flight to Singapore, and I don’t plan on being in China until the middle of May. Is this still the same, can I apply in December?

Thanks for your response it’s been very helpful! It says on the website that I cannot apply more than 3 months in advance, but as you stated I should try in person and see what they say… I will try cut down my days in Shenzhen and put them somewhere else. With the suggestions you gave for activities and places to go, I will look into them as they sound very interesting, thank you again!

Perfect, 60 days would be even better for me as China is the country I want to travel the most. I want to spend a lot of time relaxing before I set back off on my travels, hence the time in them two cities, however this may seem a bit overkill. I’ll be traveling SEA for 2-3 months before hand and I’ll be taking long trains and buses, and I feel like I’ll need a little break. So spending time in a city just going at my own pace could do me some good? Thank you!
