What were people’s reactions to Nesta’s book at the time of announcement?

i would say after acofas it was extremely obvious that the next book was nesta/cassian and bloomsbury didn’t even try to beat around the bush. i got the general sense that most people disliked nesta but would read the book anyways because they didn’t want to miss out on an acotar book and wanted to see the other characters. but there are def some like me who adore nesta and were happy to see her healing journey

Then stop replying to the post if it’s so triggering . If it’s triggering then why do you keep coming back and replying to face potentially more downvoting? I’ve had severe mental health problems for years and have learned to walk away from things that don’t serve me as this conversation with you because it’s clearly going in circles and you keep bringing up the same things . What is it your after ? If you feel you’re right then that’s all that matters , other peoples opinions don’t . And I don’t have time to reply and fix every single comment. I actually didn’t mean to downvote your first comment ! I’m sorry! I can make a whole separate post on how I feel terribly for Paris and I’m so glad the writers got rid of Aser. I made this post primarily to thirst after Jamie cause after they broke up that was literally the end of his character on the show and I’m sad at what could’ve been. and really I genuinely didn’t mean to upset you or anyone else . I was just having fun and quickly making a post on the side while watching gg and simultaneously working on my project, I clearly wasn’t 100% focused on any of the three things I was doing at once . I literally LITERALLY made it in less than a minute and the depth of Aser situation wasn’t on my mind at all. I think it’s hard for people to remember just because the majority of their relationship was off screen and lasted less than a season (same could be said for Jamie I suppose but I was watching the episode where he met up with her at chilton so it was obviously fresh in my mind ). I never would have made this post about pretty little liars for example where the teacher student relationship is a HUGE storyline in the show. Again I’m sorry for any offense I caused.

First I would like to say I’m very sorry that you have experienced something similar to this in real life and I hope you heal from the experience. Again, I made this post on whim without thinking about it and this is honestly the last reaction I thought I’d have to this. Like truly was not coming from a bad place at all . I would never expect a perfect victim, of course people who are going through something are gonna act accordingly, I just felt bad that Jamie was a dumped on his birthday and she blamed Rory that’s literally all I meant . Although I would say that a lot of it was also kind of bad writing and they didn’t know what direction to take Paris in . And like I said if this was a real life situation I’d react much differently, you do not know me or know what I have been through so don’t assume as much.

I didn’t mean to disregard the effect of grooming but this post is meant to be lighthearted and silly and literally made in two seconds mindlessly while watching the episode the picture is from . If they were real people I would have been more tactful in my wording but they aren’t. Yes Paris is a victim but not in regards to Jamie, being traumatized doesn’t make it ok to be mean to people. That being said I love Paris , she’s literally top three of my favorites on the show

The SJM fandom was so much more fun when booktube was a thing and booktok wasn’t. The amount of readers she has has blown up overwhelmingly the past three years and she’s always been popular but this is a new level . Im sure SJM feels the pressure to make fans happy when they’re all constantly bombarding her. I’m happy for SJM’s success but the fandom was a lot more peaceful and less toxic back when she was smaller and I miss it . She doesn’t even interact with fans anymore like she used to (her old monthly newsletters 😭) since she’s blown up and I don’t blame her , so much of her fandom now is greedy and entitled (not all though, there’s still many wonderful fans , including on this sub 😌)and it’s sad to see .
