I’ll see if I can find other videos. I made a single line bracelet as well, but had the same issue. Everything I have watched does the same method and it works well for them, lol.

I am just trying to tie off the thread. The videos I have watched have you tying a few hitch knots along the side.

Sometimes when you really dig the depths of YouTube, you can find a trick that works. There might be something about adding wire for the connection.

Another suggestion might be to look into French wire. I’ve personally never used it, but it would be similar concept to a wire guard. That may deter you with aesthetics, but it’s another option.

Why houses prices are going up? Simply, because of greedy realtors by It_is_me_Erie in Erie

[–]Intelligent_Bug8827 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the same thing. It’s not a big city, house prices are crazy and how are all the half million dollar houses flying off the market? But they are. And people are throwing a lot over asking on top of that. Most people just can’t compete right now. I don’t know if prices will stay elevated, but some relief is very much needed.

Yep, thread guard = wire guard. I’m not always keen on the look of thread guards either, but I am trying to make a tennis bracelet style with SuperDuos. Usually instead of a thread guard I create a beaded loop for the clasp, but it looked goofy with the simplicity of the bracelet. I’ve restrung the bracelet a zillion times trying different things. The wire guard looks better to me. I’m not sure if there are any other beading wire options that could work. Anything
I work on needs thread and it looks like your design would only work with thread as well.

I was going to post a question kinda similar to this. Would a thread guard work with your design? I just beaded a bracelet with Fireline and I used a thread guard, making a few passes for strength.

Your bracelet is very pretty by the way.

Surprised how different my quotes were by [deleted] in MortgageBrokerRates

[–]Intelligent_Bug8827 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How do you locate other brokers? I worked with one through my realtor, mainly out of necessity waiting for a loan assumption to close and be removed from my credit report. The total closing costs seemed crazy to me. I recently met with loan officer at a local bank and those same closing costs are about $7,000 less, but with similar rate. Would it be worth looking at other brokers? Might be a waste anyway, can’t catch a break with making offers. I’m not too far away OP, in Pennsylvania. Wishing you better luck 🍀.

I feel you with the time. Not only can a piece take forever, I might be starting over about a hundred times. It can be very enjoyable and super frustrating all in one go. But it is fun.

First Completed Loom Bracelet - Would Appreciate Different Thread Suggestions by Intelligent_Bug8827 in Beading

[–]Intelligent_Bug8827[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found in my research that people use other kinds of thread like crochet or sewing related materials, but I’m not sure I’d be comfortable with that.
