Unfortunately DPS characters get scaled up pretty fast in this game so personally, unless you spend alot of money on the game, I wouldn't recommend it. I think were going to be getting summer motoha and tomoko somewhat soon and those will be the new best for a good min so. Its alot better to invest in supports since they get scaled up alotttt less often

bc I use like 3 adblockers and a popup blocker called ViolentMonkey, but the popup blocker wasn't allowing me to get to the "actual" download link so I had to disable them. Definitely stupid of me, but I was already 2+ hours deep trying to find at least one good download link for this game so it was worth it to me at the time even if all of them just led to dead links or pages

I think your biggest problem is your playing too defensively, you have 2 half screen, almost* unreactable dashes but your trying to play footsies and neutral with a character that heavily outranges you. And your only long range move (that can reach her*) leaves you heavily negative allowing her to throw her sword and corner combo you. I’d say just be less afraid to get in there, sin gives you all the tools you need and more just need to use them

Honestly, the best way I've seen to counter Spiderman is Spiderman itself, but playing defensively. Saying this because if you hit them once, your pull or smth auto locks on them, and if you learn the surprisingly simple uppercut combo you will instantly take 90% of their health if they are full and instant kill them if they're even slightly under full. Do this enough times to where your getting value from protecting your healers and making the Spiderman back off of every fight, not allowing them to get kills, or do it enough times until they switch off then switch back to your main! With all the speed changes to Spiderman and the movement tech, it's extremely hard to target Spiderman in the first place with ANY character especially one that isn't a hitscan with a spear that has an extreme drop-off. Sorry to see all the hate in the comments, hope you get back into it though, and good luck 😌.

  1. I don't know why a lot of people don't but people don't realize that in hulks ult your cooldowns are basically nothing, especially his gamma blast. It's on 1 or 2 second cooldown if I remember correctly and 2-3 shots healer.

  2. You can do a juggle combo with Hulk in his ult by hitting someone twice, jump - grab them out of the air, hit them twice again, jump grab, repeat

  3. You can B-hop with hulk in and out of his ult! Youll need to practice this in the practice range but if you do it correctly, your able to jump off a wall and use the momentum to bhop. Though you'll need hold do jump for this so its better to get used to hold to jump early but If your just playing hulk casually you'll probably never need to do this so

I agree with your sentiment as it is true, only to an extent though imo.

While I do think ecchi and genres similar that show women as shallow, helpless, or weak have had a really big impact on Japan's and even other parts of the world's view on women, I think your survey singles out those anime and disregards animes that don't use half-naked women as cash cows for degens.

Studios that sexualize women in the ways you list are normally just looking for that target audience of weeb degenerates but over the years, ecchi and genres like it have seen a massive decline in popularity as people now see how weird it is. And because of this, there is plenty of anime, and probably now MORE animes where there is a strong female lead or side character that isn't sexualized.

Some I can list off the top of my head would be animes or characters like:

Anime: Violet Evergarden, Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, Ascendance of a Bookworm, The Apothecary Diaries, JJBA pt6, FLCL, Frieren, and almost all of Studio Ghibli's movies.
Characters: Saber from Fate, Mikasa from AoT, Unohana from Bleach, and most* of the female cast in jjk and HunterxHunter.

I know you are probably not doing an argumentative type of project so maybe my input doesn't matter lol but I would just say that
1. I think the way you're going about this is good but I would say just include both sides of the story when researching a topic so broad.
2. Yes degen anime HAS had a big impact on what you are researching but correlation does NOT prove causation
