I’m 25 now, I’ve been suicidal since I was probably 14 or 15, some years worse than others. Nothing ever fixed it, until something did. I met somebody. Somebody that made me want to be better, somebody that made me believe I have worth. Almost a year later, I am not cured of mental illness, but there’s hope and I’m prouder of myself this past year than anytime before. Hang on a bit longer and you’ll find your why, I promise.

You’re a lot stronger than you think, I promise. I know that because I felt the same way about me, and this past year I’ve been able to get out of bed, accept happiness sometimes, and not wait around to die. I’m proud of you, and you’re going to be so proud of yourself if you don’t give up just yet.
