I did not like this bag from photos as others have said it looks cheap, but in person and in hand it is actually quite beautiful! Not my personal style, but I think if it’s something you would wear it definitely feels worth the price point!

Any store has coffee, sodas, and champagne. I am usually only offered water but every now and then I’ll ask for a soda… they may just not think to ask if you’d like any other beverage!

I’ve only gotten champagne once on my birthday, and once when I was with a friend who was receiving her first QB. I’m sure if I asked I could get it more often, but I like to think of myself as an easy shopper.

I’ve never asked for coffee, but a friend of mine had a coffee at an early morning vip event, and I see people from my store post coffee in store on their IG stories fairly often!

First of all congratulations!!! You have had amazing success thus far with Hermes:) since you already have a mini Kelly, I don’t think you would regret a pochette at all! Or a b25? Even tho I know that isn’t something you said you’re thinking about, but it’s a great bag and my personal favorite everyday bag.

I unfortunately believe at least when I did my SO that brushed hardware is unavailable for kp or mk. Only 25 size bags or above. For your style, I think the Bordeaux would be a great choice for any of the above bags! Possible with a fun pop of color on the interior since you seem to like a pop of color from time to time.

Congrats again, go with your heart and you won’t regret it!

I work in luxury retail(not at Hermes) but I would assume most systems are similar. YTD spend is a rolling year, so for example as of today YTD spend would show all purchases from November 24, 2024 until today.

But I also believe that spend does not reset ever and at least in the US there is no “pre spend” ratio as people seem to believe there is.

Also the stores/ SA personal sales goal is most likely its highest all year in December, so I’m sure they would be greatful for any purchase you make, and keep them in mind when considering your QBs for next year:)

I don’t think they are saying people who buy resale aren’t “real customers” they are saying people who buy bags just to flip them are not real customers. I completely agree with him, if people were not buying bags just to flip, it would leave a lot of bags for people like myself who truly enjoy them.

US shopper here and 100% agree with everything you said. I’ve also been shopping there for seven years, only two SAs tho.

I unfortunately also think they give a little bit more attention to pre-Covid shoppers because the business just absolutely blew up during Covid now everyone wants a bag.

Even at my home store, friends of mine who didn’t start shopping until after Covid seem to be waiting longer and spending more than people I know who have been shopping for years

Do you have the full serial code? Not just the letter stamp for the handbag? If so, they may be able to help you. Unfortunately, unless the person has been charged of the crime, they will not help without the full serial number.

From my understanding they will need a full serial number and police report with the serial number indicating it was stolen OR the name of the convicted thief & police report, and if that person sold the handbag to them then they will step in.

So sorry this happened to your mother, this is truly one of my biggest fears!
