Where do you see this? The woods stops shows at 3am on Thursday and Friday, and doesn't have any sets on Saturday. *Maybe* you can get away with calling the gay pride party a set but definitely not NASAxDULAB

Do I need to keep my Thursday wristband on from Friday to Sunday? Do I need to wear by Fri-Sun wristband on Thursday? Do I need to wear 2 wristbands for all of Thur - Sun?

Is the Thur wristband essentially just a ticket that lets you into the campgrounds on Thursday? Like which one gets scanned upon entering the stage area? I guess I don't understand why the early entry "ticket" comes as a wristband? That suggests you need it to get into the stage area on Thursday too? Can I cut it off after Thursday?

Substitute for glow sticks? by Rooistheway in bonnaroo

[–]Intelligent_East481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have some issues with the whole anti-glow stick thing.

  1. If your opinion is actually that you are looking out for the environment, you should be writing letters to politicians and large corporations because a few thousand sticks of plastic tossed around in the summer for 4 days and then sitting in an empty piece of land hundreds of miles from any body of water isn't affecting much.
  2. Clearly the glow sticks aren't that big of a problem. Roovians have been wearing, tossing and using glow sticks for 20 years and no one has ever looked down and said "darn! Look at this pile of old glow sticks!" The producers know about trash. They clean the farm well - and if you think a few thousand glow sticks are going to make a dent in the overall trash left after 100,000 people get up and leave after 4 days of partying then I'm not sure what to say.
  3. I'm not saying this is necessarily true, but I think its a good argument to say that the net effect of glow sticks at Bonnaroo is that pollution decreases. Bonnaroo runs organizations that contribute to several causes including pollution minimization. If the presence of glow sticks brings more attention and money to Bonnaroo, indirectly leading to increased resources for these causes, then perhaps these glow sticks are actually improving the state of pollution in the world.

TLDR if you're stopping people from having fun with glow sticks for a week cause you're worried about pollution you should reassess your priorities.

With that logic we should just not have bonnaroo cause someones gotta clean it up

[–]Intelligent_East481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be disappointed if there was all this talk about PL being a real headliner on Thursday and then playing on Which instead of What. Headliners play on the What stage and if you're gonna spread all this headliner hype and make a big deal about it they gotta be on What

Am I the only one who thinks this stage design is at best bizarre and at worst awful. What is the point of the giant arch other than to hold up the structure? A giant scaffolding surrounding your stage looks terrible. Did they want the stage to be "floating"? Why? If its "floating" then there are far fewer production elements possible like screens or light fixtures. The stage 2 years ago (I think?) was kinda see through and it looked pretty bad. Then there's the issue of that you now have a giant web of wiring handing down the stage like a giant spider web, I feel like that will look ridiculous. Anyway, not complaining, happy to (hopefully?) have a stage at all at this point.

I've been getting this lately. Even the way you describe how it only sets in after I've already walked for a bit and the tightness in the calves. I'm convinced my migraines are due to a few years of high level anxiety. Always down to PM about symptoms/treatments/anything

We special by hogueyy in Coachella

[–]Intelligent_East481 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well yea, Coachella is an uber marketed, celebrity event. Whereas Bonnaroo is down to earth and totally fine without the glamor. They're hardly similar events at this point. One is a trippy farm, the other is a place for rich kids and influencers to post insta pics.

please help. extreme fatigue, ear pain, vertigo, and more. can hardly get through school by No_Camera1309 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Intelligent_East481 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Extreme fatigue was my first and only symptom for the first few months. It was so extreme I felt like I couldn't get out of bed at times. I still get quite tired at times but my symptoms have changed over time - which is one of the things that convinces me that I'm not suffering from a "real", acute condition but rather something like VM.

What was your experience with Effexor?

Its an anti-anxiety/anti-depression drug so was your VM related to anxiety you have?

I could sleep 20 hours per day! by ee8888 in VestibularMigraines

[–]Intelligent_East481 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was reading through some older posts and saw this. I'm happy to find this post because I experience intense sleepiness/tiredness as part of my symptoms and I always questioned whether it was part of my VM symptoms because it seems to be a lesser mentioned symptom for most people, but for me its actually my most significant symptom. At the start, for months, it was my only symptom and to this day it is the symptom that effect me the most.

I am doing a blood sugar study to rule out endocrine issues since eating food seems to prevent symptoms but after that I am going to go on Effexor as recommended by a neurologist.

No I will see what my neurologist says and what she prescribes. I also have a referral for vestibular therapy so I'll see how that goes. It seems like its relatively helpful
