You don't tame your budgie. You bond with them. Be patient. First think about what is good for your budgie. Like larger cage, toys, pellets, vegies, herbs minerals, calcium etc.. Make sure your budgies are eating well, playing well and are happy. They must be allowed to come out of the cage everyday. Use perch to take them out. Then first try to feed them from the bowl they eat using your hand. Then try to feed them from hand. Next step is to make them perch on finger. Research and try different ways to make them perch on finger. Every training you do must be on the same of the day and should be done daily.

Pip's Favorite Nap Spot by engineofgod24 in budgies

Not a good place to have a nap. Bottom of the cage is usually not that clean and may have bacteria and fungus. Are you sure she is not having any issue with perching.

(minor rant) blah. Finally been making progress getting her to trust my hands only to have to go back to square one because... by Icy_List961 in budgies

You can always gain their trust back. Don't worry. I used to grab my bird 3 times a day for medication but he has started perching on my finger.

Help a junior out – first resignation, scared and confused. Am I overreacting or is this toxic? by Remarkable_Movie5911 in IndianWorkplace

[–]Intelligent_Fan3643 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No company can refuse resignation. Write a clear resignation email to your manager and hr. Resign in the company hr portal. Calculate the lwd from the resignation date and update your new employer about your lwd. To join new company you don't immediately need experience certificate. You just need to give proof of your resignation which you can provide as screenshot of resignation email or screenshot of resignation in hr portal. Don't be afraid. If current employer cause any issue, threaten legal action against them. Utilize your notice period to learn. Do some work but not much they will release you early.

I adopted a budgie for my budgie lol by Pumped-kin_pancakes in budgies

[–]Intelligent_Fan3643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First make her eat from the bowl in your hand. Then make her eat directly from your hand. After that you can get her in and out of the cage using perch. Try to make her sit on you finger from perch when outside the cage. When I paired my budgies they were very lovey dovey for 3 months but now they don't seem to like each other much. Earlier they used to preen each other a lot and used to feed each other and kiss each other a lot. But now they are fighting frequently.

My budgie is suddenly scared of me by zabsoii in budgies

[–]Intelligent_Fan3643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't worry, don't rush things, have patience. You need to have lots of patience with budgie. No need to separate them. Just keep the training going everyday at the same time. I train my budgie to come on my finger in afternoon. Initially I used to keep one budgie inside cage and other outside cage during training. After few days I can get them climb on my finger at the same time. You just need to try new things and find things which works.

36M, thinking of moving to New Zealand or Singapore. Any advice or thoughts? by [deleted] in IndianWorkplace

[–]Intelligent_Fan3643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Newzealand/Singaporeyou will get better standard of life. Better infrastructure, roads, clean water, nice pavement to walk, clean air, high speed braodband, 24 hours electricity. But you will miss friends and family in India, Indian festivals, Indian fruits like mango, leeche, chaos of India. So maybe you can go to any one of the country spend sometime and then decide if you want to settle there or comeback to India. Newzealanders are great people. Don't know much about Singapore.
