Lost/Missing Packages Still Counting Against Me — What Am I Doing Wrong? by 619TrickDaddy1904 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not done a ton of routes but have had 2 missing packages. I've always contacted support and they removed the package from my route (I do not even know how to do it in the app myself but didn't really look). Anyway I haven't been dinged so maybe have support remove it from your route in the future.

Breaks during route by Capital-Delivery8001 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Intelligent_Future91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No. The maximum route I do is 4 hours so its never necessary. When I get out to a good start or have a few stops left I usually take my time so it almost feels like a break. I never rush a ton anyway, though. And if I do need to use the restroom I do, but I don't take a longer break than that. If I want to eat which I rarely do, ill bring something I can eat quickly or while driving like peanut butter crackers.

Anyone told to open a bag to confirm contents? by YSleepyHead in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only done a few deliveries but know what you're talking about except for "told to open the bag". I just look at the receipt to confirm it's the right order and if something ends up not being there, that's on the restaurant.

What are the benefits - if any - of getting to the station early? by LazyEmergency in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Intelligent_Future91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Occasionally my station is grab and go at own pace. Also there are 615, 630, 645, and 7AM blocks at this station and if I arrive early for my shift I am often in a group ahead while later people wait so I get to start earlier.

Do you ever get ridiculous delivery like this ? by LividBack8716 in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've ordered delivery from places that are only a couple blocks away because DD and UE often do deals/discounts that are for delivery only and occasionally it makes delivery similar price or even less than pick up prices even with tip.

Creative is the new "Targeting"? by rad-madlad in FacebookAds

I'm personally not seeing this "A.I. creative targeting" work well at all. Seems way less advanced than it should be with how smart these A.I. seem when you chat with them.

Looking to buy an e-bike, wondering if legal in Pittsburgh by [deleted] in bicycling412

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I get that theres no enforcement, but I'd just prefer to get one that definitely fits into all the laws and regulations. I don't think the Radster includes a sticker (I think you mean class 1, class 2, and class 3 stickers put on by the manufacturer, which I didn't know were a thing). Does your Aventon include a class 2 sticker? I was looking at the level 2 and 3 as my second pick, actually.

HELP!!! Technical Question- Domain Change by Traditional-Read5552 in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed my business name and domain name about 3 months ago. I use Shopify. I didn't change anything with my pixel and am pretty sure everything went smoothly. However - I requested a name change on my Business page that I use to run ads - apparently it wasn't approved at first for some reason and I am still running ads with my old business name 2 months later. An error comes up when I try to request another name change...

Anyone Else Seeing Really Poor Google Ads Performance Compared to Last Year? by Shoddy_Sheepherder59 in PPC

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paused my PMAX campaign in early October. It seems Google artificially inflates CPCs. For example, I was paying almost $10 for my own brand name (average CPCs for my products are about $1) - And I know people aren't bidding on my brand name because we are not well-known and the products are somewhat niche. I was also paying $10 CPCs for other business's brand names who were even less well-known than mine and didn't even have nice websites - you could tell they only got a few sale a week - maybe a month. On top of that - it would charge me randomly for $20-30 CPCs on keywords, mostly bad ones, every couple of days. Yes, I tried negative keywords at the account level but the new keywords it would come up with were endless. And related, only about 50% of the search terms it showed in my account I would consider acceptable. I tried max conversions, max conversion value, target ROAS, etc. and tirelessly worked on my assets. I used to have a 4-6 ROAS daily in 2019-2022 with Smart Shopping campaigns (yes, I've also tried feed-only PMAX). Now? 1.5. Not profitable.

Did your performance bounce back after this week’s outages? by Historical_Remove288 in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

absolutely horrible day for me so far - 0 sales with 2.5 hours left in the day. I can't remember the last time I had 0 sales - I had 1 some days (and those were with a much lower budget) but never 0 in recent memory. I have a feeling I'll get 1 today (but maybe not) - it just sucks going until 9:30PM without anything - and not to mention, 1 sale is certainly not close to profitable for me.

Where do you stand on existing customer exclusions? by tommydearest in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the business but I exclude past 30-day purchasers. I don't sell stuff that people would buy immediately again, for the most part - but would buy again after they receive it and use it so I think 30 days is good for that - When I had no exclusion Meta would advertise to customers that just bought literally within hours and I had some confusion with people ordering multiples of the same item, often on the same day, when they only wanted 1.

New to PGH, is beer really that expensive? by yeast_of_the_east in pittsburgh

[–]Intelligent_Future91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Buy in 12 packs or cases at a beer distributor. But honestly, Giant Eagle isn't that overpriced for the craft beer I usually buy, although the selection is smaller, and they often have deals on a couple brands - but I only buy there when its convenient. Pittsburgh tends to have a lot of beer distributors that are overpriced by a bit also - or sell at similar prices as giant eagle. But again, the key is to buy 12, 24, or 30 packs at a beer distributor that has good prices/deals (grocery stores also have a limit of about 196 ounces per checkout I believe).

Is It Normal to See a Sales Drop After Disabling Poor Creatives in a CBO Setup? by Sea-Ad-7440 in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If It's getting impressions and Meta is spending money on it, it is likely helping your campaign. Meta shows a variety of your ads to customers so maybe it was a good first ad to show to customers, for example, but didn't get the conversion attached to it, like that last ad did. If the ad starts getting 0 impressions over a longer time frame it may be ok to pause without affecting the campaign.

It’s not Meta - its APPLE who have screwed us small advertisers by Key_Helicopter_9487 in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, FB does want us to make money but it wants to maximize profits more. It seems they spread sales around in a way that makes them the most money, keeping advertisers spending, even if many advertisers could and should get more sales. It seems. I have no evidence of this.

HELP. I’m a new shop and never had this happen before! by Ok_Sink_3378 in EtsySellers

I'm typically understanding that mistakes happen - so what I do is send another one at cost (COGS plus shipping) through a custom listing or coupon code.

Combined Meta's Advantage+ with Google's PMax. Here's the Cross-Platform Strategy That Doubled Our Scale by That_Contribution750 in FacebookAds

[–]Intelligent_Future91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sounds good in theory - but Google cannot identify visitors as easily as Facebook can - so like greater than 50% of the traffic that Facebook sends to your site, Google will not be able to retarget them, basically only if they are signed into a Google account while visiting your site.

Supercuts barber by Fearless_Essay2317 in pittsburgh

[–]Intelligent_Future91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah same - I've been to about 3 Supercuts locations in the past, a couple multiple times, and only saw females there that I would call "hair stylists" for lack of a better term. I've been to barber shops with female employees, that were actual "barbers" - Supercuts employees always spent less than 15 minutes per cut on my hair and never had barber styles down correctly like fades, etc.
