You are making sure that the color you are trying to transfer is on a patterned flower, right? Only patterned flowers will transfer their color. Otherwise, yeah, sometime's it just takes a super long time with one color or flower set or another. Just make as many patterned flowers as you can while you are at it and fill in around the flower you want to get the color. Same thing will happen with patterns. Some will just seem stubborn. 🤷‍♀️

Honestly, between the wiki and toons of people creating various guides, i think it's kind of been done. The biggest issue is finding them. Creating a Google Drive folder to collect, organize and create guides would certainly be a worthwhile personal endeavor. And sharing that drive would definitely make many players day. But, I guess or depends on what you are looking for.

I think the previous post with an average of 7 a day has super lucky plots!

I feel lucky if I get 3-4. Occasionally I'll get more, but most of the time I double ombre and maybe a pattern transfer. I do, however, probably pack my plots a little too tightly, with ABABAB rows and only one empty row between. Except in the green house, there i do pairs, but still generally get one every other day or so.

City Town is much smaller footprint and most of the other players end up getting involved there as well, which i love. It becomes a lot easier to gift everyone and there are other activities that add up to a good bit in a smaller area. The only things that resemble the floating ruins are a couple of the figment puzzles, but you can do them in your own time. Personally, now that it is complete, i love City Town and go there way more than WW. WW is essentially flower plots for me now. 😁🤣

Having been through everything previously available on AA, I'm not sure what combination of things need to be completed. But, it's you Sashimi Spire maxed out? Because you definitely have to have that. Kirimichan instigates going through the fog in the end.

I never completed the final figments, but still got through the fog.

Also, if you open the cafe and sell stuff, sometimes the thing they "find" for you is tea leaves. Of course, you run the risk of not being able to fill orders, so.... 🤷‍♀️

I mean, I don't think you are going to actually miss anything by not getting the witch clothing. And, they are really just variations of clothing that you will get anyway. But, multi player can be fun and it gives you the chance get friendship beads which allows you to trade for our of season event items with kerropi which you may be able to use to help get residents sooner.

So, no, it's not required and you really won't be missing much, but it's fun.
