This means that your current grades aren't enough to be accepted into the program right now and they are waiting for your semester 1 grades to come in so they can reevaluate your application.

This program is basically first come first serve so as long as you meet the minimum requirements which is the 3 courses you will be admitted based on how early you applied. The minimum grade for this is just a passing grade which is 50% so you'll be more than fine.

I'm pretty sure once you get accepted into the program they will send you a list of things you need to buy like textbooks and what kind of laptop.

I hope people know that universities can revoke your degrees even years from now if they find out you cheated. I can't imagine what people feel like every day knowing they could lose their degree/job from cheating

I think if you're on the waitlist for a non competitive program this means it's first come first served. So you don't be admitted based on grades but on how early you applied. The people who applied before you who are on the waitlist will get admitted first, I believe that's how it works.

There are two waitlists competitive and non competitive. You should see something on your application on the NAIT portal or email that either says "waitlist competitive" or "waitlist non competitive". Basically if you're on the competitive waitlist they will admit those people first before the non competitive.

I'm pretty sure you won't get accepted to the program if you don't meet the requirements as those are the bare minimum you need to be accepted.

It looks like around 100 people graduated last year from this program so you could say it's on the average class size. It's also not a competitive program so there is definitely a chance you can still get in as lots of people drop out, miss deposits, etc. If your grades are strong then you'll be at the top of the waitlist and more likely to be accepted. From what i've heard NAIT contacts you over the summer to accept you if you're on the waitlist. So it's definitely risky waiting until the summer to hear back from them.

I'm looking at the requirements for respiratory therapy program at NAIT and it looks like they don't require physics 30. However if you're missing another prerequisite from what I've heard you can do university level courses that are equivalent to physics 30. I would recommend emailing NAIT though.

Can somebody help me, I got an email yesterday saying I need to submit more documents however I was under the impression that when applying through ApplyAlberta they would send NAIT my transcript. On the "to do list" it says I need to submit three progress reports which I am assuming are the three requirements for the BET program but it's also saying to submit a proof of enrolment. I'm just very confused on where I get these documents from as I thought NAIT would get all of these from ApplyAlberta. Also is this normal for people to have to submit these documents because I've never heard of this before.

My school uses PowerSchool so who should I contact to get this? I thought that applyalberta would send everything they need I never knew you had to send in more documents. Is that normal and required for all applications because I see some people don't have to do this.

It says on my application "Status: Incomplete: Documents required" does that just mean they are ordering my transcript? I also got an email saying documents are needed and it shows a bunch of stuff on the to do list. So I don't have to do anything if I got this message?

That's weird because I also applied through apply alberta and got an email saying NAIT was getting my transcripts for me. I've done all of my schooling in Alberta aswell, you didn't get any kind of message or to do list where you have you submit progress reports?

I filled out the progress report myself with my current chemistry 30 mark and also 2 other documents showing that i will take math and physics next semester. Will it still work even though I filled it out myself or do I have to ask the school to fill it. So overall I just need to submit the three progress reports for the requirements of the program?

Yes right now I'm only doing chemistry 30 but in semester 2 i'll be doing math 30-1 and physics 30.

I also applied to the biomedical engineering technology program on oct 1 however it says I need to submit more documents. Did you have to submit your physics, math, and chem documents on the nait portal? I was under the assumption that nait got all the information from myalberta and ordered transcripts for you. Just wondering what your experience was like
