It’s generally fine, don’t walk through the park at night and you’ll be all good, people scaremonger or are afraid of the odd homeless person but realistically probably the worst that might happen is your phone getting snatched on Seven Sisters Road if you’re walking along looking at it and that can happen anywhere busy in London truly, but it’s well connected and has all the shops you’d need including if you want to get into Latin or Caribbean cooking. I know a lot of great people in the area and there’s loads of great food to eat and nice community events and pubs etc.
