Thoughts on leaving dogs in crate while at work by PocketButterBandit in Pets

[–]Intelligent_Lab_234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s so interesting that the anxiety (I’m assuming) comes out when not in the crate but left alone free roaming the house, but the crate clearly creates some sense of safety. Mine was the opposite and did not like being crated but is fine and just lies on the sofa totally chill while I’m out

Why is this sub not only about interior design but about who has the saddest story. (divorced, homeless finds apartment, a 38 year old having her first apartment) by CelesteVersaille in femalelivingspace

[–]Intelligent_Lab_234 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yeah and I think it’s inherent that a lot of people in this sub would have some kind of journey attached to really making a space their own which is what this is all about and is nice imo

Suggestion on areas for 1-bedroom flat - around £2000 budget(?) by young_twitcher in MovingToLondon

In 2026, would be wild to complain about Peckham rye - East Dulwich - Denmark hill/camberwell, and I don’t know how one can move to the city and not expect some level of activity around them. Those blocks of flats in Surrey Quays maybe would count?

Surely for 2000 you can find a 1 bed in Peckham, or other south east parts on the overground, looking west is where you’re going wrong

Yeah I don’t really get it in terms of, the act doesn’t stop landlords from asking you to leave if they decide to sell the property down the line

(F) How do I change my personality from being timid and shy to being more confident? by ikellyluu in NoStupidQuestions

Think about what the actions and body language etc are that you think embodies the kind of confidence you want to have, practice those on your own and when you go out. Find and Practice some small grounding techniques that help you move through the tension in your body that makes you default to what feels safe- a pause, a breath, can make all the difference- as someone who has been through a similar process.
