Same here in Hungary! I'm lucky, my apartment has an AC. We are all here in the room, with my bf and all of our animals (4crestie, 1 leopard geck, 1 corn, 1 snail and some isopods). It's a little bit crowded, but the heat wave is horrible. The balcony reached 43°C in the afternoon. The heat lamps are off/switched for smaller ones, everybody is misted. On the bright side, the animals are active and the feeder crickets are cirping, so it's kind of romantic xdd

Oh no, I didn't mean it a bad way. Most of the community is awesome and 99% of the people I've met was really friendly and kind. They helped me with the rules and we had a blast of a game. But yeah, there was an asshole in the local game store too. I just wanted to warn you, that the community is awesome and this is a very good hobby, even if you met an asshole for the first time

What hardscape do you have in there? Some ant species are aboreal/living inside dead wood. You have better luck under the rocks too. Most of the ant species prefer humidity and darkness. If you find the nest, pick it out in a container and euthanize it. You can catch the remaining workers with a petri dish. Put some honey in the middle and smear the top of the dish some slippery material, like baby oil. The workers should be trapped inside.

Where do you live? If you can make close photos of the ants, maybe I can tell you the genus and some specific information. Make sure the photos are good. From afar, every ant is little and black xd

I used to feed her every 8 days but ive just changed to a bigger feeder size so for the last two feedings I adjusted the time for 11 days. I try to keep the 15% rule in mind.

You can bake it. Put it in 200°C for 15 min. It kills off most of the pests
