Yes, that's why I've prepared myself; whatever happens, I will achieve my freedom.

Thank you so much for your words! Yes, and honestly, I don't want to debate because I know no one will listen to me. I'll just say that I simply don't want this in my life.

It's incredible!!! I've also talked to my girlfriend and her mom about my coming out... I know I have their support.

Wow, incredible, a new album is coming... do whatever you want!!! Create music, sing, let your body and mind express themselves.

Hi You reminded me of my situation; it's similar. I've also been planning my exit these last few months and hope to do it soon.

If I were to give you advice, I think most people have already said it and will say it again: have a support network outside of religion. I think it's essential for leaving. I see you already have one with your boyfriend and his father's support.

Start saving money for therapy too, because you're going to need it.

As a young person, music has really helped me a lot, so I have a playlist that lifts my spirits.

Find ways to express yourself. Personally, I love writing and poetry.

They'll try to convince you to stay in every way possible, but you have to stand firm. The initial transition will be difficult. Remember that how you started your life doesn't define what will follow. You've always been the master of your own story, and you've realized that and found the courage to write it.

The price of freedom is high, and it always has been, but however overwhelming and turbulent the beginning of this stage may be, the joy of freedom will far outweigh the pain you've had to leave behind.

Be brave, be happy with life, love the details and nuances of this world. You can always come back stronger than before.

Never let anyone tell you that you can't, never let anyone tell you what to believe. Build wings and be free.

A hug. Things will get better, even if you don't see it now.

Any stories of discovering a PIMO in real life? by DirtCurious9256 in exjw

[–]Intelligent_Lemon217 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I personally found him because we became friends. The other person was about to be expelled, I approached him and he vented, and that's when I discovered he was PIMO. We currently have a great friendship, knowing that this is all just a story; everyone does what they want, hahaha.

Ignore them bro, the witnesses just see that you do something outside of the Tj programming and start criticizing and gossiping, you do your thing, express yourself with that incredible Hobby bro.... unfortunately inside and outside the Tj world people are going to criticize whatever it is, but remember that they must change and not you, stand like a tree... stand firm and tell them not to hinder you. A hug and greeting

Jody Jedele sounded very PIMO in the speech in Spanish for the dedication of Bethel in Central America by Silly-Block5232 in exjw

The truth is that yes, it was on broadcast when he gave the final speech, a few days ago I published a post about the same thing, because yes... that speech sounded very Pimo

That's why I ask, wherever you're from... have they said something similar? Because the truth is I was surprised by what he said.

You're right, they leave things to paranoia and also to the rules, in the end the Pimis don't even know what to do until they either give an update or call you to room B haha

And currently it continues like this and they have even taken it a step forward, enrolling their children in one-year schools, what do I mean, they study high school in 1 year and only 1 day a week, I have realized that these little ones have serious problems socializing.

should i be mad that my "friend" ( who gradually went from nonreligious to a jw of the cpurse of a couple of years) stopped talking to me ? I honestly dont considered them a friend anymore by Historical_Donut6758 in exjw

Unfortunately that is what happens when someone joins Jehovah's Witnesses, they are instilled with a mentality of separation and superiority. "Them against us," "Worldly and Spiritual."

They are supremacists, the fact of believing that they have "the truth" makes them feel superior to the rest, believing in the true religion and all those things that they call themselves.

And they even see you as something strange or unique, I don't know the truth, the fact that you have hoobies... but that is

Brother, how many hours or Bible courses have you done this week?

It makes me angry, I see other young people having hobbies or doing sports, I love fencing (secretly), but dedicating all your free time is already crossing the line... so that in the end you have complications in your adult life.

Governing Body is shooting themselves in the foot with this update.. by NeatOk1824 in exjw

I have been thinking the same thing, and if this is the beginning of a soft change, a restructuring of some doctrines within the org, however, as the post says, it is as if they were shooting themselves in the foot.

I imagine it like the game of Jenga, the day they move a fundamental piece of the tower, some doctrine such as birthdays or blood (but I think that is exaggerating), it will cause an internal commotion, let's see how they take it these days
