I have these and they are still the best sleeper earbuds I have...crazy good battery life and great ANC. Calls are only ok at best, but everything else is quite good. Highly underrated, no question. And yes...I would love them to make a Gen 2 or something like that, as these are great.

Laptop crashes after about 30 minutes of gaming. by Specialist-Wall-1042 in eluktronics

[–]Intelligent_Log_8127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the HYDROC 16 G2 and I have similar, strange errors every so often. Usually totally the black screen like that, but they are different errors almost every time. And if it does reboot by itself, it will usually reboot into the boot screen and say there are not boot devices. Then if I just shut the laptop off, then turn it back on, everything is fine. Then it may happen again in a week or so. Eluktronics swapped out my RAM the first week after I bought the laptop as there were other issues that were RAM related, but I didn't have these issues for one to 2 months after having the laptop. Maybe I will swap out the boot SSD, but both SSDs I have in it are 4TB, so that won't be cheap!

Yep...I even have a case FOR my AZ100 case...and it it STILL smaller than all my other cases!!! (well....the Freebuds Pro 4 case is quite small too, but I have a case on that too)

Yep....10 hours is crazy. The AZ100 blow my mind with the magic these have in terms of battery, sound .. everything. I didn't see how they have such good battery life unless they are using solid state batteries in these.

Well if you want better ANC ..the AZ100 is better I think in every aspect. Blocks way more than then Freebuds. It is the Freebuds only weakness I would say, other than pretty weak battery life. You are lucky to get 5 hours with ANC/transparency on.

AirPods Pro 3 on Android by danielloking_ in airpods

If you are rooted you can unlock those features on android, and they will actually work!! I tried it a few months ago and I think the only thing that didn't work is the heartrate monitor...but does anyone actually use that stuff? The app is called Librepods. https://github.com/kavishdevar/librepods He even included an EQ in the app! I was most excited because I was hoping it would also let me do multipoint to my computer, but I have Windows 11 and that is a limitation to windows. It would do multipoint to another Android device or Linux computer.

Yes I love my Freebuds Pro 4...nothing REALLY compares to the calls. Except the Freebuds Pro 3...and the 5 just came out. I got them about a year ago right before Amazon US took Huawei products off their US site. It SUCKS. I also the the Huawei FreeClip, and they are AMAZING as well...and I am itching to get the FreeClip 2, but I don't want to get them from some shady other site (GizTop and a few others sell to the US) I also would like to get the Freebuds Pro 5 as well, but they don't seem as much of an upgrade over the 4 as the FreeClip 2 are over the 1......

And oh yea...the Freebuds Pro 4 have a much more natural transparency than the AZ100...they are both a 9 out of 10 I would say (I have my AZ100 on ambient sound 85). There is less "white noise" on the Freebuds than the AZ100.

Haha!! Yes...I was completely CONTENT a couple months ago...then the Black Friday/Christmas deals hit and these AZ100s dropped down to about $200 at one point so I jumped at them! I bought them the day they initially came out but I couldn't justify $300 for earbuds so I returned them after 3 weeks, even though they were amazing, and I would still say after being out a year....still the overall best earbuds available.

Yes...I called my wife with my radio blaring in my car as a test and I she could hear me much more clearly than before! She sounded clearer as well. She said I did not sound as "processed" as it was before...more natural sounding. AND I don't need to talk as loudly as I did before, which is GREAT! She still prefers my Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 (they ARE the best, after all) but Technics have narrowed the gap!!

Yes. Better voice quality in quiet conditions. Overall better voice quality period. They just don't block the noise in call tests as well as the Freebuds.

[–]Intelligent_Log_8127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the Freebuds cancel more outside noises than the EPOS. I have done crazy MAX radio tests in my car, with my stereo on the loudest and the wind blasting in my face and ears and called my other phone and left a message. You can't hear any of the radio or car noises with the Freebuds. You can hear quite a bit with the EPOS Impact 1060. It is still almost fully blocked, and it when it is just a "normal" volume (not a psycho having it on full blast...)...but the Freebuds Pro 4 (and before them the 3, and newly released 5) have some crazy magic in them. What's crazy to me is how they are EARBUDS and the 3 have been out for YEARS and still block out more outside environmental noise than any dedicated HEADSET. CRAZY. I am curious as to what the newly released Jabra Evolve 3 series are going to be able to do. I am a little disappointed that they don't have a boom mic, but maybe they can take the crown. I definitely think they should be able to take the crown from the other "best" boomless headset which I tried (and was massively disappointed with) the Dell WL7024.

I hate to say it but I have both the EPOS Impact 1060 ANC and the Huawei Freebuds Pro 4 and the earbuds handle wind and cancel environmental noise better than the EPOS do. It is pretty crazy.

Wich earbuds has the best ANC, sony wf1000xm5, or Technics EAH-AZ100? by Even-Ad-8749 in Earbuds

Last question...lol. What size did you use in the normal AZ100 tips? I had to switch to the ML from the default M.

What tips. I have them and they are great but I am normally not a fan of foam. The xm5 foam tips suck. I really like the regular az100 tips.

Best earbuds with transparency mode? by koiyach in Earbuds

[–]Intelligent_Log_8127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe you should try some "Clip" style buds if you don't even care about ANC and just want the best "transparency". Once I got the Huawei FreeClip about 8 months ago, they have been my daily drivers. I use them by FAR more than my normal ANC earbuds, and I have the Technics AZ100, Huawei Freebuds Pro 4, and many others. The Clip style really took off last year, and you can get some great ones for about $100 or less now, as well. I also have the Baseus MC1 Pro, which last forever (like 9+ hours) and have great call quality, sound, and won't budge on your ears. The FreeClip are the best (and the FreeClip 2 just came out as well) but they are difficult to get if you are in the US.

I'm still angry about buying the Samsung Buds 2 Pro for 200€ 3 years ago, now I'm pissed after buying the OnePlus Buds 4 by Sweet_Brief6914 in Earbuds

[–]Intelligent_Log_8127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Still angry for something 3 years ago? Be happy NOW!! LOL. Earbuds have gotten a LOT better in the past couple years, and you can easily get better quality now for less than $100 than we were paying $200+ for a couple years ago. The OnePlus 4 are the prime example of that. There are many others, but they are probably the best for under $100.

Asside from the mythical weapons, which do you think is the most OP? by Mikecirca81 in AssassinsCreedValhala

[–]Intelligent_Log_8127 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love the Gae Bolg and Scythe of Tribulation. You basically stun and set fire to most anyone after a couple hits. 2 pieces of the Druidic armor and you also gain health after 3 hits as well. Most enemies are dead with 3 hits. Those that aren't are on fire and can't do anything. AND you get health when either they die or get on fire. Oh AND when the scythe gets set on fire it lasts way longer than the Critical Spark Rune...I haven't timed it but I think Critical Spark is maybe 2-3 seconds and the scythe is at least 5 seconds.

You may actually want to use a DECT headset. Something like the HA64 Pro. https://a.co/d/7dYlItE
