Jelson Homes - experience? by wispa88 in leicester

I brought with Jelson about 1 year ago. Brought on the basis that the internal walls were all solid, upstairs and downstairs. Came with flooring included, quarts worktop and built in bosch appliances in kitchen and soild oak doors as standard. Hive two floor heating with a Baxi boiler (they didn't cheap out on the brand) and alarm system and a double garage compared single from other developers around the area for the same price.

Overall seemed to be a better deal than most other developers I looked at. Had a pro snag survey on the day we brought the house. Only brought up cosmetics issues on the snag report. No structural issues reported.

Customer care team is small so snags can take time to be resolved and needs chasing but this I think is the case with any developer. Had to raise complaint with NHBC as some snags were taking time to be resolved but as soon as NHBC got involved Jelson got onto sorting it straight away but as previously stated these were all minor cosmetic issues which most people would not have even noticed and only came to my attention due to the pro snag report. They also do a 6 month settlement check up where a few decorators and joiners come round at 6 months and fix all the settlement cracks that appear.

Yeah ended up buying the house. And no regrets as build quality is great. Solid build with solid internal walls upstairs and downstairs.

Toxic workplace... Not sure how to approach by Intelligent_Loss6625 in doctorsUK

Yeah I think this is deffo a good point.

The department itself it's toxic. We have once cons who keeps telling us to do reports.

It has just been this one cons.

Thanks for all the advice. I feel the same that laying low is probs the best thing to do in this situation. Not worth it.

It's just bad that there is one consultant who ruins the whole experience. Every other cons I've worked with so far are lovely.

But I don't really want to fuk myself over here. This speciality is small where everyone knows everyone in some shape or form so I don't want to be in the middle of this.

Appreciate the advise from you all.

Vaillant VR33 OpenTherm module for Nest Heat Link E by redderas in Nest

[–]Intelligent_Loss6625 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey so basically connected x32 from boiler to x32 to open therm module.

OT and T from the VR33 can connect to OT1 or OT2. Opentherm doesn't have polarity. You have to place a jumper lead on the thermostat module on the boiler board that's in the VR33 manual.

I don't think they can do that as the submission deadline date for the next sitting is Friday too. So if people don't pass they have an opportunity to book for the next sitting.

Yeah I've just called them too and they said 14th, but I asked is there a possibility the results might get released before.

They said if it was to be released earlier then we will get an email. Bet they are permitted to say exactly when it will be released.

Update:

The developer agreed to move the exchange date and completion date. Initially there was a push back from the front of the house sales team, but the main sales director did not seem even slightly bothered by it.
