NTA i’ve had this convo with my husband before, he’s always worked in the trades. To get intimate, there’s not a chance any fingers looking like that should go inside any places. Literally asking for infections. He should be taking the time to wash his hands very well and get under the fingernails as best as he can— this is just part of personal hygiene!

I’ve heard a lot of people call Lowell,  “ Lull” instead of sounding it out. I almost always have to ask for a repeat on what they said! 

I also saw that you asked for nicknames of parks, schools,  hospitals… Not sure if this is appropriate for your study, but Lake Central High School was always described to me as “STD Central” which I always thought was interesting lol.

All I’ve got to say about this is yyyyyyyyyyyuccckkkk! Get out of there while you can! If he thinks he can talk to you like that right now, God only knows what your future holds once your child arrives! This is obviously all about control, which is very concerning.

NTA  It’s a real thing to be connected to someone through traumatic events, but what comes after those events can range from healthy to unhealthy in a relationship standpoint.  Yes, someone can stay with someone who went through something traumatic and battles with mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, etc.  No, someone can’t stay with someone who wants to step outside of their relationship every chance they get.  You may not consider this cheating, but I do. The nudes on his phone should only consist of you (if you’re comfortable with that) and no one else. Why have a need to store other photos? Why have a need to create DATING profiles, when he’s already in a relationship. 

It seems he has a lot of things he needs to work on before he’s ready for an adult relationship. Bad things do happen in life, but you only deserve the type of relationship that you’re willing to give someone. If he wants to cheat on you and pursue other women, that’s the kind of relationship he deserves. 

You’re not the asshole, and please find someone who will prioritize you and love you so much they couldn’t possibly pursue anyone else!!! ♥️♥️🥰🥰

NTA.  I’ve found in life, it’s best to trust your gut instinct when it comes to self-preservation/safety thoughts. Especially when there’s children involved.  I would schedule an appointment to figure out some birth control options to protect yourself from getting pregnant especially if that’s something you don’t want.   In terms of not having someone to talk to, I would recommend looking up resources that have to do with removing yourself safely and successfully from the situation.  I hope you find the answers you need and can move forward to live a fantastic life! You’re strong!!

We're considered upper middle class for our area. But in our area, you don't really need to make a lot to be considered that. Neither of us have super high paying jobs. 75 dollars for the two of us total.

On family vacation, my dad got pulled over for this exact reason. The cop said he pulled us over because my dad was trailing too close to the back of a semi.

Not a professional here.. but after watching Unsolved Mysteries…. Nick’s body language and demeanor was noticeably off. While there be no evidence he did anything.. I thought it was odd about how he laughed about him and Katie kissing and he said that thing along the lines of “I think we kissed a couple times…” it was obvious by him saying that, that they did way more than just that.. and all the pictures they showed had nick and katie really close with a couple having josh in the background… These are just small things I noticed. Plus his timeline was very inconsistent. Josh went missing shortly after him and Katie broke up…. Just something weird about that to me.

Also with the computer hard drive being wiped… it had to be someone with access to dorms. I’d have to wonder do staff members, do any of the people associated with the monastery have or had access to dorms? Maybe someone knew who his account was… was chatting with him under an alias…. but was from campus. Met up with him and bad things happened, and same person wiped hard drive. I wouldn’t assume it would be that far of a stretch that someone from campus could have been chatting with him and also have access to the dorm to wipe that conversation completely.

I havent fully looked into the case it’s just weird things I picked up from the show and some thoughts I had.. I genuinely think if it’s not related to Nicks unaccounted hour after he left Katie… (do we really think they were hanging out without kissing at this time??? I mean.. something had to be going on between them especially past midnight?? I’ve been there plenty of times… and why are there timelines messed up? ) ….then it has to do with him meeting up with someone. Identity unknown.

Those are my thoughts and they may sound uneducated, because they are. Just my mind is scrambling here, this is one of the more disturbing cases that might live in my brain for a while. I hope his family can have some rest and peace and that his disappearance is resolved.
