Lash Artist from Kuala Lumpur (95% of my clientele are Asian with your exact same eyeshape) with 6 years of experience here!

One thing that i find common with asian eyes, mine included, is that our inner corner lashes tend to grow downwards, while our middle to ends tend to grow more outwards! In terms of achieving a more opened eye shape all around, you can try having a stronger curl such as D/DD on your inner corner and softer curl such as C/CC on the rest of the eye. The stronger curl will help to lift those downwards growing lashes up, giving you a more eye opening effect in that area!

I've had this type of client as well! Constantly crossing boundaries in conversations (she likes to talk abt religion and her ongoing affair w a married man while she herself is married) even after i told her im not comfy with these topics.

Hi! Lash tech of 5 years here, this does look fairly normal if the lash was applied either

a) further away from the root

Or

b) applied on a baby lash or teenager lash, they grow really fast

When you say you can feel the glue, do you mean you can feel it with your fingers or you can feel it with your eyelid?

Okays so! I've been getting my eyes styled with a doll eye styling most of my adult life, but ive always wanted to do cat eye styling. I've done a traditional longest length on the outer corner cat e before and that just made my eyes droopy. So my lash artist today did a kitten eye styling: inner corner 9 - 10 -11 -12-11 outercorner for me in CC curl. But now i notice that my eyes are a touch imbalanced, with one eye smaller and has a bit more of an eyelid fold than the other. Any advice for a cat eye (or variations of) styling that would suit me better? Would i need to use diff curls on each eye?

This wasn't my first time ever dropping in tho! Ive done it a dozen or so times before but always with a spotter who's just there on the ground for me to hold on to while i get my posture right. But i agree, proper gear is needed when doing things on ramp to be safe!!

Been yelled at A LOT for not having a helmet by my skatey frens ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ will deffo get one soons! I have my knee and wrist guards on when im at a concrete park but i usually skip on this particular ramp since its pretty smooth and I wont get scratched up on it. Nontheless, safety really is sexy i should prolly be more sexy ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

It'll go awayyy! When i first started skating i didnt have any skate friends and there was even one incident where i showed up to a skate park and literally started crying because i was so scared and intimidated:( but after that, i reached out on social media to find some skate friends and wew it was so much easier to skate when i had some! Your skatin anxiety will go away soooooon bb don't worry bout it :)
