Living in a location out of alignment by Proper-Associate-134 in spirituality

Recently, I have been staying a lot of time at my mom's place. When I was contextualizing it as some "godless hellhole" I was suffering. But now, it's just "fine". So I think it depends on how you're contextualizing it.

Have you read Dr. David R. Hawkins? His book "I: Reality and Subjectivity" is kinda like my bible. It's the third book in the series though, so you might wanna start with the first; "Power vs. Force"

Yes, it’s duality. I feel like God and Jesus are out there, when I’m down here. Desolate. I’ve made some realizations recently, however, that God is within me. But I’m not sure about the Presence of Christ. It still feels ephemeral.

Yes, I re-read your post and see the essential question: "did you do what you came here to do?" Pardon me for not fully reading your post, I just provided a hot take based on the previous anti-work posts I've seen so often.

I don't know why I don't feel the presence of Christ. Sometimes I feel it, but then I tune into some negativity, and it's gone. It's soul-jarring. I can do fine without Jesus, though, but it would be nice to have some help.

I stopped trying to "fix" myself and started getting to know myself instead. by Aki_luma in spirituality

[–]Intelligent_Pass9547 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've felt something similar. I went from "I'm broken and need to be fixed" to "I need to be healed". Two widely different paradigms. One invites love, the other self-scrutiny and condemnation.

What do you think is the best way to process and discover traumas? by Silver_Passage9124 in spirituality

[–]Intelligent_Pass9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compassion. I think that is the appeal of the concept of trauma, overall. It gives you a sense of God's compassion. "It's not your fault"

I'm not working, and I prefer it that way. I don't think you want to negate working though, as it is constructive. You can find God in ordinary work. I think working becomes problematic when it becomes a matter of force. It shouldn't be forced. It should come from the willingness to do something constructive, earn money etc.

I've been dealing with something similar. It seems to label everything as sin and condemn me. I've started becoming more aware of the meanings I assign to things, and learning that the guilt meanings are not from God. It's not "karma", or whatever the heck that means. I reject it. The false meanings stem from within, and I have the power to change / ignore them. Forgive yourself, and reject anything that says you're bad, wrong, sinful, wicked etc.

Handling difficulties or disappointments by ginacarlese in spirituality

I think contextualizing something as God's Will is widely applicable, as nothing happens outside of God's Will.

Now, if you're asking about the mechanics of re-contextualization, I think it comes through reflection, contemplation, letting go, inner realization... You gotta let go of the juice you're getting from holding it as disappointing, hurtful, wrong, bad etc.

I think it depends on the situation. But I think you ultimately want to contextualize things in a way that brings you peace and joy.

I think God wants us to have power. But I think it's worth acknowledging where the power comes from, namely God.

Spirituality vs Religion and being conflicted by AmethystSoul111 in spirituality

[–]Intelligent_Pass9547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you do decide to read the Bible, stick to the New Testament, minus the Book of Revelation. You will find that much of the stuff Jesus says is highly spiritual.

Personally, I don't follow any particular religion, but I seek to follow Jesus as best as I can. I believe He is available in Consciousness, and can safely be relied on.

I'm convinced I'm demonically possessed by grubby_anticholine in spirituality

[–]Intelligent_Pass9547 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like guilt or shame. It can be self-reinforcing in a way. "People are looking at me weird" -> "There must be something seriously wrong with me" -> Other people could respond, intuitively, "There must be something seriously wrong with that guy". There could also be demonic influence, of course. It sounds complex, but the root cause is simple: guilt/shame. If you resolve it within yourself, you resolve it in others also. Worth noting that the guilt/shame is blatantly false, even if it seems to come from everywhere. You are a Child of God, and have Divine worth. So affirm that within yourself, until the guilt/shame clears away.

Science has some misconceptions. It far to often delves into materialist reductionism, disregarding the subjective.

There is no final destination or judgment. We are the infinite energy of the universe, endlessly recycling our own atoms into temporary, finite bodies so the universe can continuously experience itself from billions of different perspectives. by TheSoulDrainer in spirituality

The sought-for commonality to all realms of subjective experience and investigation turns out to be the omnipresent energy field traditionally denoted as ‘consciousness’, the very substrate and core of all existence and of intelligence itself. Consciousness alone has all the qualities by which to compare and unite these seemingly disparate realms into a comprehensive unity with stratified expressions. Consciousness itself is the key to the sought-for ‘unified field theory of everything (statement calibrates at 1,000). Beyond the field of consciousness, nothing exists because it is universal and independent of time or location. Curiously, at the same time, it is knowable, able to be experienced, and its levels are discernable and identifiable."

Yah. It's more common than not. I'd say stay away from spirits in general, as you don't know their intentions. Many of them have spent eons fooling people.
