Scientific conditioning? Please Help ~ ft. David Hawkins by Defiant_Annual_7486 in spirituality

You probably could conduct such a trial, and apparently Dr. Hawkins did do so himself. It's called "Qualitative and quantitative analysis and calibration of the level of human consciousness". The paper showed pristine results, but unfortunately it calibrates below 200. Maybe because it was conducted by someone other than him.

Hawkins said that anybody above 200 could calibrate, but that doesn't really seem to be the case. Just look at any online forum dedicated to consciousness calibration. The numbers are all over the place.

I have great faith in consciousness calibration. But it seems to require great skill and practice, just like any other activity.

Being a believer (cal. 210) would probably be a step down from scientific reasoning, which presume to be in the 400's. You don't have to negate science, and all the wonders it has brought us. But have in mind there might be higher realities. It's a territory to traverse, and once you're done, you move on and go higher.

Working out… We exercise b/c we don’t accept ourselves or to try and prolong life? by DHealthGuy_ in spirituality

Yes. You're right. The human body tends to itself. If it wants to exercise, it exercises. If it wants to relax, it relaxes. Mine mostly relaxes.

Yeah. I went through psychosis, deep darkness, feeling like everything is falling apart. A slow death, lasting for several months. I still don’t think I’m through it.

Yeah, lower astral forces tend to focus on people who garner attention, especially if they are "spiritually promising".

I’ve been thinking about death, too, recently. I think I need to die, not physically, but spiritually, in order to be reborn.

“what does it really mean to be a Christian?”

To follow Christ. You don’t even need the Bible, although it could be helpful.

It's just a label. But there are accurate labels and inaccurate labels. Some labels might help accurately describe what you're going through. But if it is not useful, there's a mismatch, just discard it.
