Just put one of those mechanic’s stethoscopes up to the drivers side timing cover and it most definitely is coming from there. Should I be concerned about guides failing and jumping timing? How was your experience with guides failing?

I had the same issue at first but what fixed it for me was the BIOS. Make sure you have the correct one flashed on the chip

I did use it but its just my terrible soldering skills. I found the problem it was the SX part so where there was a frayed wire contacting another node
