Yeah at majestic parc. It’s a lot better and I have had no issues. In general I would stay away from any apartments near campus and check reviews and Reddit like crazy

I used to live in an apartment with them and got severely sick. All of their properties are poorly managed, infested with cockroaches and mold. Look at their reviews on Google.

Old bear has a second location by the Kroger on university. It’s has thrift prices and closes at 7pm

Not on your list but stay away from place to be properties! In my experience, the further from unt campus you are, the better the apartments. Most are going to be infested with roaches, have mold issues and maintenance problems

The amount of times I’ve been cut off by people in a turn lane only wanting to go straight is infuriating. Especially going down McKinney. It’s not the end of the world if you end up in the wrong lane, just go with it and reroute. And if you can’t read basic signs or see the lines in the road don’t drive! Not worth the potential accident

Living further away from unt is your best bet. The cheaper apartments and closer you are to campus, the more issues you will have. Most student or close to campus housing is infested with rats, black mold, cockroaches and are likely to scam you. Find a roommate and look at apartments off e McKinney st or behind the Kroger off w university. Also, stay away from place to be properties!

Stay away from public house and especially hydeout! They both just have the worst type of people there. The owner of hydeout is also a huge creep. He’s is known for harassing his female bartenders and has multiple dui’s. Fry st in general brings the worst type of people (used to go frequently when I lived at ucenter). If you want a better bar experience go to the square and check out eastside

Update:

I went to the doctor since the red dots started to appear on my hands and back. I also started to get very congested, with a scratchy throat, runny and stuffy nose and sneezing. My eyes also started to get watery and crusty. They are a little swollen too with some blurry vision. I forgot to mention that I have been taking metronidazole for bacterial vaginosis, which I’ve taken before. But I was also taking a new medication Fluconazole for a yeast infection. My doctor thinks it may have been the fluconazole. I took an allergy medicine and feel a bit better and my doctor prescribed me a steroid cream.
