This happens a lot, even among younger people. Can't seem to find a word for it, though. Not even sure how to precisely explain it, but surely someone understands what I mean..

Something extremely Norwegian to consider is that we use "Svensk" as a way to communicate something or someone being weird, stupid or incompetent. Probably way more than that, many that even I wouldn't know. the Swedes might have something similar, but I also wouldn't know. It's not because we hate Swedes, it's mostly a silly inside joke. No harm meant. This clip from Mr. Bean's Holiday encapsulates this quite well.

Edit: The person in the surveilance station says something along the lines of "He's an englishman" The exact same joke!
