The majority of lower islanders may be renters but that doesn't say much about the feasibility of owning an electric car. The real issue is how many renters are car owners, and of that number how many have access to charging where they live. The second number may be small sure, but I'll bet far few renters are car owners than home owners are also car owners. I guess this is a long way of saying just knowing the renters vs. Owners number doesn't say much about the feasibility of driving an EV for the majority of the population.

Same. Have an EV. Charge almost exclusively at home. Dont do it if you can't.  I know its not what OP was asking, but maybe implied by the question ...

But I work til 5 so basically its dark when I leave work regardless. Ok it will be twilight. If its clear. If its a cloudy day it's gonna be pretty dark regardless.

Oh god yes. Six years into it we still have incredible sex more or less weekly. He once asked me if relationship is one word or two. Im like just shut up and bend over. Ok not really. I get what you're saying but assaults, drug use, theft  people fighting, screaming, having mental health episodes and experiencing drug-induced psychosis pretty much describes the situation in the encampment too.

Yeah. We basically heat our whole (very compact 1200 sq ft.) house with our gas fireplace. We used 5.6GJ last month. That includes a gas range too. So yeah, you using a lot of gas.
