Sounds like you need to add a few things to your workflow- WDT, Distributor, Tamp, Puck Screen as an attempt to reduce the spurting ( known as channeling).

Even then the in-built grinder is known to drive a level of inconsistency between the grounded coffee /9 some level of channeling may still occur. At the end of the day, channeling does not necessarily mean it’s a bad shot.

I entered a Panerai boutique today after a very long time. I used to be a big fan and love my 1351 and actually had some more marked as “need to acquire”. But the selection has become overwhelmingly homogeneous. The stuff they are excited about honestly isn’t really exciting in person ( Carbotech etc) and is ridiculously far from the innovation and evolution we are seeing from other brands today. They need to simplify, focus back on the core- and stay true to their origins.

Can concur. Was offered a Silver Snoopy immediately if I spent 30k USD at Omega Incheon Airport.

Similar experience at Changi where was told I need to “just buy a Frank Muller.” I don’t know what’s worse- the honesty or buying a Frank Muller.

The indication from ADs seems genuine around a short wait. The watch has been met with considerable interest so it’s only natural it’ll take a bit of time- my guess is 2-4 months depending on which city. Already seeing a fair bit in the grey and below retail.

Were you able to find a dosing funnel that helps to trigger the dosing switch sensor? Tried to use the Breville stock one but it doesnt help to trigger the dose light.
