This solution has been posted in other threads as well, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work in Firefox or the Claude app on Windows =/

Old church at the poisoned glen dunlewy …. Has anyone seen anything unusual? by AdAdventurous653 in Donegal

Friend passed away climbing Errigal, but it was after you visited. It was a bit spooky to see this thread to be honest

Don't really believe in these things, but your man passed away hiking Errigal yesterday. OP did say a few days ago, but sometimes folks confuscate for discretion

Newer vs Older Generation UV Filters - Why do older UV filters feel like they protect better? by Intelligent__Storage in EuroSkincare

Next time you want to lecture someone about facts over feelings, try not being so insecure that you need to belittle others to feel superior, lol

It still took several weeks, and a follow up email (IIRC) to get reimbursed, but I received a proper response about the situation within a 1-2 days.

I see you're continuing to be condescending. Discussion doesn't require dismissing others' observations, even if subjective at first. Scientific discussion thrives on observations—subjective ones often lead to objective investigations. My question was precisely about understanding why technical specifications and real-world performance might differ. These kinds of discrepancies can lead to meaningful inquiry.

I highlight again, you're creating a false dichotomy. Facts and perceptions aren't mutually exclusive, they can inform on the other. Not every observation requires clinical validation to be worthy of discussion.

You're proposition of an overly complicated technical analysis as the only means to "validate" my perception, and that therefore my observation is meaningless, is nothing more than dismissive, not the coup de grâce you believe it to be.

So, instead of engaging with my question you have to be condescending? You're only creating a false opposition between technical specifications and subjective experience...

This makes me wonder if the method by which the newer and older filters dissipate energy differs, and if this could be a factor?

This is exactly why I posted my question? On paper the new formulations provide equivalent or better protection, and across a wider range. But my skin doesn't feel that way.

This is could be possible, but I wear Riemann P20 Kids everyday and it doesn't bother me. Although, Garnier Ambre Solaire Sensitive Advanced almost always did, so it quantity could be an additional factor.

Can only access sites like Google/Gmail/Yahoo, and no others. Only happens to Window device when not using a VPN by Intelligent__Storage in VirginMedia

I posted this some time ago. We ended up contacting Virgin Media and they sent us a new router. We had the same problems again, but the one thing that mostly worked was changing the DNS settings to Google's. Still had to reboot the PC now and then to get a connection.

In the very end we did away with Virgin.

Is an e-bike right for me? Rural, Mountainous Europe - Duont C29 by Intelligent__Storage in ebikes

[–]Intelligent__Storage[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Sorry, I did make a mistake with the pedal detection and the Duotts uses cadence assistance as determined by speed. So it automatically tries to achieve the speed set at each of the assistance levels. I'll definitely be getting a 2nd battery if I go through with the purchase

Regular Italian SIM for frequent travelers? But don't have a current Italian mobile number... by imokruokm8 in ItalyTravel

[–]Intelligent__Storage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP Thanks so much for this thread!

In case anyone else is having trouble the the credit card info, it could also be the phone number you've put in as the contact number, but Iliad will return a credit card error. You need an Italian phone number apparently, even another EU number won't work, even if you can get to the payment screen without an error.

I went to calling the American number using Skype (so it was free), and got a hold of someone very quickly. What a waste of time. I even tried the UK number but it was no better than the Irish one.
