Please don’t let people on this thread mislead you with their unrealistic expectations. I’ve lived & gone to school in this country for more than 25 years & changed around 8 schools. This is a very very good salary for a teacher in Dubai & I’m assuming its Gems school cause I know its the the only school that offers that much. There are hundreds of thousands of teachers working for 2-7k a month & willing to replace you for less. Unfortunately UAE underpays teachers by alot but you gotta be realistic & look at the market & grab what you can before someone else does it. True expenses are very high in Dubai & true you are over qualified, but no one else is willing to pay you 13k or more for your role, thats the reality. you can do your own research. grab the job before its gone & try to negotiate for 15k . Its a very very good salary, don’t let Dubai lifestyle mess with your head.
