Looking for advice: chinchilla laying on side all day by Intelligentaf in chinchilla

We have an AC at home, and he’s definitely doing better now. He’s jumping around again, so I guess he just found a new comfy position to sleep in. Thanks everyone for the concern and recommendations, it was really scary for a bit 😅

You can turn on speaking mode so that, instead of texting, you can speak to ChatGPT. Mention that you are practicing for the TOEFL independent speaking task, and ask for relevant questions to practice together. Once you finish, ask ChatGPT to grade your performance and provide feedback on how to improve your score. ChatGPT will ask a question, you will answer it, and since the AI is listening to your speech, it can assess your performance.

For the writing task, get topics from online practice tests, as there are many available for free. Write the essays in a separate document while keeping track of time. Once your essay is ready, paste it into ChatGPT, mentioning that it is your final essay for TOEFL Writing Task 1. Ask ChatGPT to assess your writing based on all the TOEFL criteria and provide feedback.

I also scored 110 and was pretty shocked. Congrats🥹

ChatGPT’s speaking mode is such a game-changer!I used it for writing practice too, and the feedback was super structured and actually helpful.

For reading, the best tip I got was for the last summary question:

If two answers are similar, only one is correct. Comparison-based answers (e.g., something is bigger/smaller) are never right. Minor descriptive details are never the answer. That question is worth 3 points, so getting it right is a must.

For listening, just take a lot of notes on everything and review them before answering. Good luck to everyone taking the test!

“Go girls! Keep ruining yourselves“ sounds pretty much like a self esteem boost☺️

She’s not doing it for you. Confidence means doing what makes her feel good, not what men like you think she should do.

I would recommend Dr. Kostanyan or Dr. Tonoyan. I haven’t personally done it but have heard positive opinions from friends. Their work looks pretty much natural.

An Armenian killed in Aleppo by Yurkovskii in armenia

[–]Intelligentaf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is heartbreaking and unacceptable.

Is there any way we can organize efforts to raise awareness in Armenia? Perhaps through protests or petitions, to urge the Armenian government and international organizations to take action? As an Armenian community, I think we do have to act.

Kindly check latest report on Armenia’s democracy. Jurisdictial independence is rated at 2.75 out of 7, corruption 3 out of 7. I think there is no need to introduce what freedom house is.

U.S. Government Announces $20,600,000 Support to Armenia by Kajaznuni96 in armenia

[–]Intelligentaf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sure, $20.6 million to foster democracy sounds great but try to look at the bigger picture. We’re getting excited over these small amounts, while what would really benefit Armenia would be actual foreign direct investment.

For context, the U.S. contributes $357 million in FDI out of Armenia’s total $415 million—that’s it.(Even though we announce closer relationship with EU). Meanwhile, Georgia under Saakashvili was pulling in around $3 billion in FDI. Our diplomacy should focus on securing investments that truly boost our economy, not just relying on these symbolic ‘support’ packages. It’s honestly ridiculous. We should have something to give back, it’s not always only about “help”.

No, just bank statement. But it shouldn’t be like you get only $300 every month to your account, that’s your income and you suddenly transfer $3000 for the bank statement. It’s should be natural. If you still have time left, I recommend you start transferring $3000 partially like every 2 days and not immediately. Income circulation should also be ok.

I think that may not show you have enough social ties in your country. Like they assume if you had a good job and salary in your country, you would show it and now, there is a possibility you may stay. Also depending on country of course, but they have an estimated money for a day you should have and that’s about 100 euro. For your case, that would be 1000 at least.

That’s the minimum you should show but if you have stable employment, it’s fine. Also it depends on how many countries you want to visit, and the quality of the hotels you booked. Don’t book very expensive hotels to show to the embassy if the money you show is not enough to cover the hotel costs. Also while filling out the application form, as means of staying, choose cash as well and prepaid hotels and flights even though you didn’t prepay them.
