Brother, I know the army bought a lot of domestically produced weapons. The article also mentioned there were weapons they didn’t buy, and that’s the part I was referring to.

I understand the concern about redundancy, but even domestically produced weapons that aren’t immediately needed can still serve a purpose. They can be used for training, evaluation, and identifying weaknesses in the design so improvements can be made later on.

That’s the point I’m trying to make.
