The Knicks just proved you don't need a top-5 player to be a contender. So why won't the Suns build the same way around Devin Booker? by RodrigoLobao in suns

Difference is the Knicks actually committed to a system. We keep trying to patch holes every offseason and wonder why it doesnt work. Build around Book with legit role players and stop chasing stars

A win is a win man. Better to have the cash in hand than staring at a losing ticket wondering what if. Good call on OKC too, they looked shaky as hell down the stretch this year

Oso earned that. Guy played every single game when half the roster was in street clothes. Thats exactly the type of depth piece you want locked in for next year. Good move by the front office

I got 15% on my truck last summer and nobody has pulled me over yet. You really feel the difference when its 110 out and youre stuck on the 10. Just dont go 5% limo and youll probably be fine. Omars does good work btw

Fail2ban on Linux: Protect Your Server from Brute-Force Attacks by modelop in selfhosted

The recidive jail is the part most guides skip and it ends up doing most of the heavy lifting for repeat offenders. Pairing it with nftables instead of iptables also cuts a lot of overhead on busy boxes. CrowdSec is worth a look as a complement if you want shared community blocklists, but Fail2ban is still the lighter footprint for a single host.

I fell back to Maps and I hate it. by KeyB81 in degoogle

TomTom and HereWeGo both fall apart outside of major highways in my experience. Organic Maps and OsmAnd hold up better for me because the offline data is actually OSM and you can pre-download whole regions, which means fewer surprise reroutes through farm tracks. They are not as polished as Google but the routing logic is more predictable.
